Off season is great

We love to stop at the Town Club from September to June. It's not crowded or noisy, the food is good, the service is great, and everyone is very friendly. The gyros are a favorite as is the chili. We avoid it in July and August.

Best burgers around! Old tavern look, good service. Reasonably priced. A great place for a a quick lunch while shopping.

Popular local bar and restaurant. Fun place to hang out, eat, drink and play pool. Menu includes great burgers, prime rib specials, Greek gyros, salads and various sandwiches. Beer by the pitcher.

PBR, hummus, and a few bucks in the music box. Only late spot in Elk Rapids, easy walk or bike ride.

The food at the town club is far better than one would expect in most local bars. It can get a bit loud in the summers with the tourist crowd but a great go to for a bite to eat any time.

A friend suggested the Prime Rib Special on Thursday nights. We expected the place to be packed, but it was pretty quiet. The prime rib was very good! I had requested the blackened style, very good, not overly blackened with spices. Comes with large dinner salad, baked potato and bread rolls. Our server Ann was more than helpful, very friendly... This is our favorite bar for bar food! It's so nice to be able go into a bar now that it's against the law to smoke in public. We love The Town Club, great food choices (for bar food), and very friendly servers.

This is our type of bar/eatery! An authentic old-fashioned bar. Not pretentious, nor "touristy." Clean, polished wood bar, formica tables, and attentive, friendly waitstaff. We both ordered a Gyro for $6.95 served w/chips and a pickle spear. Exceptional! The grilled pita was thick & soft. Plenty of gyro meat, sweet onion, sliced tomatoes, feta cheese, lettuce, and tzatziki sauce. As... More

Okay, the atmosphere is 1950's bar like. The tables are formica, the kitchen is just the otherside of a wall. Its a little dark inside. BUT, the locals eat there. A Lot. On Fridays, they have a Prime Rib special. I've been there at 7pm and they were out. During Lent, its Perch. Again sold out. There must be something... More

I've been to the town club many, many times. THE best olive burger you ever had. Also the best BLT on pita bread you'll ever find. Gyros are good too! The wait staff probably are the best you'll find anywhere. Great BAR atmosphere!
