To die for!

Having lived in New Orleans, it is hard to find true southern Louisiana bayou food in the north. This place hits the target dead center! The greens are so good and the itty bitty fried crawfish tails are so tender and sweet. You could make a meal out of just greens and cornbread. If you need an... read more

Pearl's hosting a fabulous four course dinner followed by a great blues artist, Shemekia Copland. Great way to celebrate Fat Tues. This place has great authentic food and friendly staff. It is a must stop anytime of year in Northern LP MI.

Not authentic cajun, but still very good food and fast service. A little pricey, but nothing outlandish. We drove from Traverse City to stop by and we weren't disappointed.

Pearl's has been our favorite restaurant since it opened, however in the last year or so the quality of service and food has diminished noticeably. While talking with friends about our recent disappointment they echoed our sentiments from their last couple of visits. Even tried Red Mesa again and vowed we will not return. There are now several authentic Mexican... More

Stopped at Pearl's for my B-Day and they had a special "Holiday 3 Course Menu" option. I chose the Bourbon Onion Soup - the Pork Tenderloin Wellington (with delicious creamed spinach side veg) - and Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. Sipped a lovely glass of Pinot Noir and when I commented on how much I enjoyed everything, my waitress asked... More

Came Sat night for a quick bite to eat...place was pretty busy. Gumbo was hearty and spicy, beef brisket was good and filling. Lots of seafood. Very unique drink selection, cherry margaritas, etc. Not fancy, but fun New Orleans decor. Think Fridays on steroids. Outdoor deck in summer.

If you live in Northern Michigan there's no need to go down to New Orleans for a great meal…you can have one right in Elk Rapids at PEARL'S NEW ORLEANS KITCHEN.The food here is fantastic and the portions are very generous. The atmosphere is terrific too. This was my first time here and the server was so friendly and helpful... More

We read reviews here and decided we wanted to try it. So glad that we did. We had the etoufee and a whitefish poboy. The poboy was large enough for two to share and the etoufee was the best I've had. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Real New Orleans style foods with just the right flavors and taste. The Jambalaya is really really good. The Sunday brunch features some of the best breakfast items anywhere. Note this is not an eat everything buffet. Must have reservations in the summer or plan to enjoy the wait on the patio.

Went here at the recommendation of the innkeeper at the B&B. Only complaint is that we didn't make it back here again on our trip. Seriously the food was THAT good. Pearls is a creole joint with a load of southern charm and spice. If you like spice, come here! Or if you like muffins instead of the usual breadbasket,... More
