Very good cajun inspired food, reasonably priced. Great staff and service. Nice bar in the center of the restaurant...try their "moonshine", it's now one of my favorite summer drinks. WE come at least once a year while vacationing in the area.

When you visit the Traverse City you need to take the time to go up to Pearl's in Elk Rapids. If you like New Orleans style food you will not be disappointed. The food is unlike any you will find in other local restaurants. Go during their happy hour and you get the appetizers at a reduced cost. Great value.... More

If you've never been to Louisiana, you might think that Pearl's is a decent introduction to Cajun cuisine; however, if you have been there, you'll quickly recognize that the food at Pearl's would not make the cut in Lafayette or New Orleans. Portions are generously-sized, but quantity is no substitute for quality. My caesar salad was run-of-the mill, and my... More

We usually go to Pearl's at least once when in the area. This visit was not disappointing by any measure. I had the catfish; my husband the fried chicken, and both meals were very good. Although neither of us required them, we were offered both vegan and gluten-free menus when we were seated. We had a new server-in-training who was... More

Pearl's is a favorite for locals as well as tourists. The restaurant offers its guests an all around Louisiana Evening, from the decor to music, drinks and delicious Cajun dishes. This is a must for anyone traveling in the area. But unless you come early, be prepared to enjoy a drink while you wait. It is worth the wait.

I stopped by Pearl's in Elk Rapids, MI on way out of Traverse City on a Friday night after receiving a recommendation from an old salt sailboat skipper. Capt. Dan knew what he was talking about. I am an aficionado of Cajun cuisine and was happily impressed by everything at Pearl's. The first thing I noticed was their parking lot... More

This is one for those places that I knew about but have never made it a point to get here. This trip was going to be different, we knew we would be in Elk Rapids on a Friday afternoon, and decided to have lunch here after a round of golf across the street. We always choose to sit at the... More

A wonderful restaurant. The decor is very kitchy and interesting. The staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. All the food was excellent, the presentation was good. The corn bread is awesome. You will be glad you came.
