Must stop when up North

We try to stop here whenever we come up North. This was our 4th time up and every time we are impressed with the service and the food. Our server Dee Dee was excellent, asked her which burger place in TC she liked best (Slabtown or Bubbas) Slabtown wins. Pearls also owns Red Mesa in T.C. also... read more

Stopped in for lunch on our annual visit and food, beverages and helpful service remain excellent. Started with a Sazerac cocktail, which was ice cold and balanced with just the right amount of absinthe to earn it's name. The corn bread is nicely moist, warm, not sweet with a nice touch of jalapeño. I would almost drive me 4 hours... More

While visiting the area on vacation we stopped for a late lunch. I had the shrimp which were excellent - not too much spice but definitely notable. My son had the jambalaya and he loved it- said it was the best he had ate outside of New Orleans. The best by far for me was the cherry bread pudding with... More

We met my partner's brother here on his recommendation and he was correct- the food was outstanding. Service was top notch. Decor was casual. Lots of dark wood booths and a bar in the center. We had three different entrees, one was a special request off-menu which they provided without a problem. I had a Hangar Steak special which was... More

Waited over an hour to be seated after waiting in the outdoor area. Music was great in the waiting area but who has a credit card bar only! REALLY! While you are waiting!! Once inside the food was overcooked, waitress was rude, our orders were wrong. Won't be back!

We went to this restaurant with 6 people and had to wait 30 minutes for a room in a very nice outside seating area that had its own bar and live music/ You are given a buzzer that vibrates when your table is ready. The menu is excellent and caters for vegans and gluten free which we had in your... More

This is such an awesome place! Great patio with live entertainment, best food ever, incredible friendly service in the most unique restaurant I've been to. Wish we lived closer- discovered it on our way to Traverse City. Definitely a must see!!

Husband and I ordered fish sandwiches. They were great but the tomato on my sandwich smelled foul and tasted bad. Had my husband try but the smell already threw him off. Called our waitress and to our astonishment she said that all of their tomatoes were fresh so it probably was the sauce that just gave it a different taste.... More

This was my first visit to Pearl's and I was very impressed. When the waitress found out this was our first visit she was sure to point out highlights on the menu and the fact that they are happy to substitute sides and alter items to meet our preferences. It was busy in there yet food was delivered quickly and... More

We all really enjoyed the cornbread. Most of us had the two types of Alligator bites and those were tasty. The boys enjoyed their Jambalaya. The service was slow and the rest of the food was just ok.
