Consistently Good

We have enjoyed Pearls for years. Friendly service, delicious Cajun and salads. It's a busy place full of satisfied patrons. My favorite is the shrimp. PoBoys are really good, as well. You'll be back!

Had a great mid-winter lunch at Pearl's. My wife and I split the winter Friday special, shrimp boil dinner. Our server had the dinner evenly divided on two plates. The dinner consisted of 12 boiled shrimp, potatoes, carrots and an ear of corn. We had ours done with Old Bay's seasoning but there are several others that you can have.... More

...of of 31 going north at the light. This is a great place for anything on the menu. Service is number one. Our meals are always consistently well prepared. Put this place on your route planner.

This was our first time to Pearl's. We had heard about the place multiple times and decided to check it out. We went on a Sunday and ordered off of their brunch menu...it did not disappoint! We were really hungry so we started with some soup. I had the crayfish and corn chowder, and my husband had the gumbo. Both... More

We had been looking forward to this for months. Pearl's is our must stop at place anytime we are near it. It had been a few years and we were really hungry for it. We started with our favorite appetizer the fried alligator (We also liked it blackened in the past) with Pearl's famous romalaide. It was disappointing. The portion... More

The host of our bed and breakfast recommended Pearl's, so we took a drive to check it out. I will admit, I was a bit nervous for a two reasons: 1) northern Michigan isn't necessarily where I think you'd go for good Cajun, and 2), my wife is from Louisiana, so the standards of Cajun food are up there. But,... More

Bread basket filled with French baguette and jalapeño cornbread and whipped butter, of course. Crawfish corn chowder or gumbo. Blackened shrimp and garlic crawfish ettouffe. Black Cherry soda is excellent. Bananas Foster. Oh, and you should always start with Oyster Rockafeller or a dozen Blue Points. Have never had any reason to try anything else, sorry. I am sure all... We have been visiting Pearl's for several years now when we travel to northern Michigan. We have yet to be disappointed. We love the various specials/themes that they come up with as they offer things we have never tried. Great food and service!
