Best Ice cream

Have been going here since I was a little girl. My family is from the area and my Grandma worked here it was her first job I believe when they first opened. Must stop by get an ice cream cone before exploring the downtown area.

Delicious homemade waffle cones! They also have huge ice cream cookie sandwiches. Great dessert selection.

The area has a few parlors to stop at but this place is very good. We come up here a couple times a year and a stop here is a must. Very good service from a young group of scoopers who are saving for their future endeavors. The ice cream is great quality with an assortment of options. This time... More

Stopped in to try the ice cream while in the area. Nostalgic style ice cream parlor directly across the street from Lake Huron. Our party consisted of 2 adults and 1 child. The adults tried 1 scoop of the banana pudding ice cream and it was not only good, but the portion size was HUGE!!! Our little guest had a... More

Stopped in and ate breakfast on our way north to Alpena. The shop is full of neat things and collectibles, the wait staff was helpful and friendly, and the food was great! I look forward to our next trip through the area to stop in for some ice cream this time!

Food was fair, ice cream was typical. Owner was arrogant and did not want to hear what we had to say. He had all the right answers. Much rather deal with Dairy Queen.

Breakfast portions were good. What they call Hash Browns I would call home fries. Breakfast sandwich bread got pretty soggy but tasty. Omelette was good but no home run. My daughter loved getting a milk shake for breakfast.

Yu-um. This was our first time here though we've been visiting the area for 10+ years. Had banana pudding ice-cream and it was really good. Strongly recommend!

A cute old-fashioned diner style ice cream bar with a huge selection of ice cream flavors and options. They have a little jukebox in back but it's not loud enough to really hear the songs you select. Right in downtown Tawas, perfect for dessert after dinner. Very fun place.

Wonderful ice cream, hand dipped. My favorite was the thick, delicious chocolate malt shake. My son loved the waffle cones and loved that he got 3 scoops for only $1 more than one scoop!
