Great Burgers and Rice ???

Great service, amazing dessert, an awesome burger, but rice with a burger? I opted for mashed potatoes, but if was a half hearted attempt. Nothing says Fourth of July weekend like Burgers and rice. Stil this is easily the best place to eat in Douglas. It's also the only place you can buy a... read more

This restaurant was highly recommended to me, the reception was a real disappointment. When we walked in, the owner of the restaurant rushed over to the host us, backed us and began muttering furiously. The host stood shocked for a moment and then look as us with a very embarrassed expression on her face. Without asking us where we would... More

It is rare to be able to say that I always love everything I order at any restaurant. I can safely say that about Everyday People Cafe, however. The drunken shrimp appetizer is something I dream about between visits. Steaks are always cooked perfectly. The sides are always very creative. The soups and salads here are wonderful. The wait staff... More

had a wonderful dinner here last week while staying in Saugatuck. The shrimp in puff pastry appetizer was very good. The entrees and salads were also good. We arrived around 6:30 with no wait on a Tuesday night. By the time we left around 7:30 there were a number of parties waiting.

During our mother-daughter trip, mom and I went to this must go-to restaurant. The food is fantastic and the service is wonderful. It is on the pricier side, but when on a special vacation or getaway - why not splurge! I had the tuna and mom had the salmon - delicious!

This could very well be the best dinner I have ever had in a restaurant and so reasonably priced!!! After reading all the reviews, we started with the Drunken Shrimp. Ok, we MAY have wanted to lick the plate!!!! Creamy...wonderful...crunchy... Next, we split the Bacon Salad (can't remember what it was called)...SO GOOD! Dressing was superb! Bacon croutons! Candied pecans!... More

I had dinner at Everyday People the other night and was very pleased. We arrived around 6pm with no reservation ( on a week night ) and were seated immediately. The menu had a nice selection ( much more variety than anyplace in the area ). The food was very good. There were plenty of "helpers" so they took care... More

Yes it took 30 minutes to get our party of 11 seated, but it was worth the wait. Drinks out front with friends made the time pass right by. Our waitress was friendly, helpful and managed a larger group quite well. My wife and I shared the drunken shrimp appetizer and it was rich and delicious. Between the 11 of... More
