A variety of interesting flavors.

We had an early dinner on a busy Tuesday vacation day, Our server was suburb, placed our order ahead of a group of ten that had been seated before us, a nice touch. The Ahi Tuna was excellent, seared on the surface and cold in the middle, just the way I like It. Nice selection of beers, I chose... read more

I have to start with the most obvious and that is the level and type of music that was blaring out of the speakers. Was it reggae? Rap? It was SO loud, I was getting cranky. Asked the waitress if she could do something about it. She said they had other play lists and would check. No, it never changed... More

We have been coming to Everyday People Cafe for a number of years and it never disappoints. The menu has changed over time, but their dishes have remained consistently good. Drinks are tasty and nicely priced.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Cafe. The food and service was five star. Drinks were a bit overpriced. Maybe the fact we were seated in the bar/entry way lowered my rating from a five star. We would definitely return.

We have eaten at this wonderful restaurant several times, but this last time was disappointing. We came for our 30th anniversary and tried something new. We started with the Spanish Tapas appetizer. This is a full meal by itself. It was tasty, but nothing on the plate was a "wow." We both ordered the Beef Tips as our entre. The... More

Oysters were good and also the rest of the food I usually don't care about service as most of Americans do but I did not enjoy the fact I had to ask for plates, lemon after waiting long time

there's not a lot of good restaurants in beach towns along the Lake Michigan west coast....not much in Holland, Grand Haven, at least if you're more of a "foodie". We have found the best two places by far are Everyday People Cafe in Douglas, and Phil's in Saugatuck. Neither one is right on the water, but not that far from... More

The servers are amazing--we come once a year when we visit the area and Micheal recognized my daughter got braces--who has a memory like that? We were floored. We always eat the most amazing meals here and have such a wonderful time.

Loved the wasabi crusted Tuna. Excellent. Carpaccio equally good. I had the crepe. Good but I'd try something different next time. The pork chop looked really good.

OK...so "everyday people" might have to save up, but they won't be disappointed. The taste is worth the price - and the ambiance is wonderful - a place in time. As you watch the trays go by, you realize quickly that the "Drunken Shrimp Sambuca" is a crowd favorite - and deservedly so. Great wine list, also. Just go...and enjoy!
