Casino Buffet/Overpriced

The buffet advertises 20% off with your casino card. My boyfriend had his card out but the staff stated because he did not have 5.00 on his card it could not be used. I was disappointed in paying full price for the buffet, yes it was good but worth 55-60 for two people no!! I would complain less... read more

This restaurant is in the casino. It is the buffet. It is your typical buffet. Nothing special although there is a salad person there who will make a custom salad at the request of the patron as well as a person making dessert crepes. Both were excellent. Cost is high on Wednesday night when they have seafood. About $46.00 a... More

Quality has gone down over time food overcooked and limited selection. Service is good they could use a revamped menu.

It had been a few years since we last visited the buffet, we immediately noticed a big difference in their foods. Overall, the food has gone downhill, fewer selections too, could it be part of their cost-cutting-measures??? There were long lines at the Mongolian barbecue griddle and the crepe station, wait staff seemed to be hit-and-miss, service was inconsistent. We... More

As casino buffets go, the MGM's is great. Nice, clean atmosphere. Great variety. Have them make your own crepe at the crepe station at the desserts!

I ate here on a Friday night. The price was $25.00 after a players discount. The salad bar and Mongolian grill were excellent. The dessert bar could use a little help. I was a little disappointed that at the carving station there was no meat other than a salmon roll. No prime rib, roast beef, ham or etc. The fried... More

My wife and I use to enjoy a nice dinner, and the excitement of the Detroit casinos, but things have really changed. MGM was our favorite because of the better restaurants, and overall atmosphere. We have been to all the restaurants in MGM, and decided to give the buffet a shot. I tried their grapeleaves and within my last bite... More

It's a casino buffet, I know. They've got great selections, and the food is fantastic. I just thought the prices were a bit steep...especially for Detroit.

I really have no complaints other than it was very pricey ($32 per person) and we sat in the front and the smoke really filtered in. For being a non-smoker, I was not thrilled that we smelled like smoke in our clothing and hair when we got back to our room. I did not stop and play any slots. Simply... More

My husband and I have dined here several times, always for dinner, mainly due to limited dining options. The selection of food is less than in the past. If you like seafood and Asian food, you will probably like it. I don't like seafood and don't find the prepared Asian food selections to be pleasing. I have never tried the... More
