We went here because my husband was interested in the beer. They were out of the IPA he wanted to try. This was the first in a long line of disappointments. They were out of FOUR of their appetizers, of course the ones we wanted to try! Our waitress seemed irritated the whole time and were weren't even demanding. I... More

Came here after a concert on Saturday (23AUG14). Our server was friendly - and the custom brews were only 4.25$ (if you are a Canadian you will appreciate this). I had the "Broadway Light" which was good and my boyfriend had the darker stout (forget the name sorry!) The only thing I would recommend is providing food until close -... More

We came here after a concert. The waiter was rude. The bathrooms were filthy. We asked to speak with the manager and speaking to him was pretty much a joke. Will never come back here.

I had previously visited DBC about two years ago and had nothing but great things to say about the entire experience...great service, tasty food & nice beer selection. Unfortunately this latest visit was less than stellar. My husband and I and another couple ate here before the Tiger's game and while we planned on hanging out for awhile on the... More

Stop in here if you're a weary traveler and let the great staff quench your thirst! Very comfortable atmosphere, it reminds me of fine dining meets sports bar. Sounds odd but they make it work.

They brew their own beer and it is good. Menu is bog standard American fare, didn't eat there but the beer was really excellent and the table service attentive and friendly although the girl who seated us needed a personality transplant. Surely you would put someone friendly on front of house? Maybe she was having a bad day. This bar... More

We visited after viewing a show at the Opera House. There are several craft beers on tap. Our service was a little slow. We had the chicken nachos. They were pretty good. Not a huge plate but enough to share. Ok for a late night stop or something to do after a show at the Opera House.

I don't have a ton to say about this. Staff was friendly, but the food was not good. Pizza was soggy and nothing special, apps were less than mediocre (spinach dip and chips). Not good.

Across the street from Detroit Opera house. Good place for a dinner before or after a show. Casual. Or a good place for a drink before the show. We went for a drink after the show to avoid out going traffic.

This was a great place for dinner before we went to a play at the Detroit Opera House. Although it looked very busy from the outside we were seated right away. They have ample seating upstairs too. We order the Philly Steak Sandwich and The Santa Fe Chicken Salad. Both were delicious. We also each had a beet made onsite... More
