On a discovery trip from the burbs to Detroit, we stopped here for a beer. We were pleasantly surprised by the selection. We didn't order any food, but the people around us had their pizza and from the remarks we heard, should have had one. Next trip we will.

Not only do they have a broad selection of beer but the pizza is fantastic! The atmosphere is great, parking is so so. A great spot for lunch or dinner. The owners are great.

The beer available was fantastic, the pizza served was even better, and when the roof opens on a warm summer day it was perfect!

Was already familiar with Motor City Brews before we came to Detroit, glad we check them out. Great pizza and even better beer!

If you enjoy good people, great beer and good food then put this place on your list of places to visit. Clearly their key to success is application of the K.I.S.S Principal. These guys have figured out that keeping it simple and smart is the recipe to success. Their menu is small but good. They offer great fresh salads, fantastic... More

We got here pretty late and it was still a happening bar! We ended up seated at the "pizza bar" - the last seating available in a pretty small dining room. The pizza bar just overlooked the pizza ovens and the two cooks making the pizza. We had a great time watching them bicker over the proper definition of labne... More

Place is very cosy and makes it feel like a gathering place. Nice selection of beers brewed in the building while you drink your beer. The pizzas were fresh and delicious.

Really loved this place. Such a cool feel on the inside and really well decorated/designed. The food and brews more than lived up to the great setting too. The food menu isn't huge but more impotent everything we had from that menu was awesome. Great pizza, salad, soup and beer. The staff was really nice as well even to our... More

we visited as a group of friends (7) and had driven a few hours to get there, arriving before a show at the magic stick--which is within walking distance. we were greeted by an annoyed/angry host who pretty much said "no" to every suggestion we made to try to accommodate us. you could tell on arrival that he didn't want... I always enjoy visiting this restaurant while I am in Midtown. While selections are limited they are good and the service is friendly. Pizzas are different that what you find elsewhere. I highly recommend the Bronx bomber. Great place to stop before or after a ball game. Just beware that parking in front of the establishment is limited, but there... More
