Limited beer and menu selection but what they do offer is done well. Stone fired pizza hot from oven and the beer is actually quite good. There is a wonderful view of Midtown from the rooftop patio. Gated parking is available.

I stopped in Motor City Brewing for a couple of beers after having dinner at Traffic Jam. They're across the street from each other. Even though it was early in the week, there was quite a crowd and a lively one at that. Both young and old. It's not far from Wayne State University and the College of Creative Studies.... More

We visited Motor City Brewing Works for the first time over Memorial Day weekend and were pleasantly surprised. If you've looked up any of the Breweries in the greater Detroit area you will find that the reviews are mostly poor but we decided to give Motor City a try anyway as it was conveniently located near(ish) to Comerica Park for... I love this place! The pizza here is really good, and I'm a huge fan of the beer. My only complaint is the parking situation. There are only a few spots in front of the brewery (the rest are for the bar across the street), so we ending up parking in a lot behind the brewery.

My favorite pizza in Detroit ! There is a variety of pizzas to choose from. Roasted Pear and Fig is a favorite as well as The Danimal. Average price of a pizza is $9 and can easily be eaten by one person. Make sure you have one of their beers (Ghettoblaster is a favorite), hard cider, wine(love the cherry) or... More

We stopped in here for lunch on a Saturday. You should know that this place only has parking for three vehicles. The huge parking lot out front isn't theirs and if you park there you may be towed away. So plan on parking on the street and walking. The service here was good. We were seated quickly and ordered a... More

This place has really good pizza and of course beer. Had the Bronx Bomber pizza on both trips here. Service isn't great, but it's sufficient. I will certainly be back.

Went to MCBW after visiting the Detroit Institute of Art. Heard good reviews and was not disappointed. The beer was fantastic. I love the I P A. Very Hoppy with hints of Citrus and went great with the Pizza. The pizza was out of this world. Had the Brown Bomber and the crust is amazing. The coolest thing about this... More

Really enjoyed this busy place with a nice vibe. Great pizza and beer choices, nice staff and reasonably priced. And right across the street from the coolest store in Detroit- Shinola!

So we get there n we waited at least 10 min for a server to seat us.. I'm sure your saying to yourself, 'oh they must've been busy'. They weren't. I'm looking around and the customers that are seated are wearing their winter coats while eating. Finally got seated and I proceed to take off my coat and quickly decided... More
