I had the pulled pork sandwich which was smokey and delicious! The side of waffles fries were seasoned perfectly and absolutely delicious! The side of slaw was on the small side but still tasty. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that likes good barbeque, and I will absolutely being going back!

Went late afternoon so it wasn't too busy which was nice, our server was attentive and gave some great recommendations from the menu, food was really tasty and the place was really clean, only disappointment was the bacon beans side which just wasn't to our taste. Would highly recommend!

I had the BBQ beef sandwich. One of the best I've ever had. Also got a side of cornbread which was just as good. Service was excellent. My only complain was that I couldn't eat it all and the restaurant was pretty chilly inside. We stopped here on our way from Indiana to Canada.

My daughter had the vegetarian meal and I had the brisket, both were exceptional. We also had the Mac and Cheese and cornbread both were great. This is a great BBQ place in Corktown- Detroit my only complaint was the food could have been hotter when served.

We had gotten a tip and tried Slow's prior to a Tigers game. Though we were plenty early, lots of others clearly had the same idea. We were lucky to get a table fairly quickly. That's when the slow part kicked in. All of the tables in our area were served before we were even though they were seated later.... More

I've gone here once, waited for over an hour, had service that was in attentive, mediocre food and mac and cheese that was lukewarm at best (nasty and disappointing as mac and cheese should be bubbling hot). I assume it was an off night for this restaurant, as I have to believe that it wouldn't receive all of the national... More

The tap list is impressive. Ambience is loud and fun. The BBQ is good but have had better. The table sauces are fun to try. Surrounding neighborhood looks like a demilitarized zone, but it all goes away once inside.

So if you go to Detroit, you better try Slows!! The food is so awesome...anything bar-b-que...you can't go wrong. The beer was cold and tasty, and not over-priced! Here's a hint, when you get to the place, look for the door that doesn't look like the door. Good luck.

Every time we visit Detroit, we make sure to go to Slows. The food is delicious, the different sauces to try are awesome, and the portions are very generous. I highly recommend Slows!
