The food was great. It was raining terribly that day, so we just picked up our food to go. The bartender was helpful. The place looks really nice inside and there is space for dancing. I think they do that on Sundays. The portions were a good size. I had the gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp) and some other tapa... More

We have been to Vicente's several times, and have always enjoyed it. The food is very tasty and the atmosphere is fun. Try the sangria, the Gambas al Aiillo, and the tres leches cake! You cannot go wrong with those!

I Googled Cuban food while we were staying at a hotel downtown Detroit. This was close to our hotel, so we went. The service and food were both very good. I had a wonderful mango mojito as well. When we got there though, the hostess was pretty rude and hadn't cleaned a table we waited at for our hotel shuttle.... More

The food was fabulous and it's the reason we went back and it's one of the reasons why we go to Detroit. OK it's not the only reason but it's part of the equation. I had the Zarzuela de Mariscos and it was very good. Just the right amount of spices and the variety of seafood was pleasing. My daughter... More

We ate at Vicente's on Father's Day - our second time in less than a month. We live in Troy and definitely think it is worth the drive. The ropa vieja is amazing and the Cuban paella is worth the 45 minute wait! On top of the food being fabulous, the service is really great. our waiters both times were... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. I ordered Camerones Enchilados and loved it. My husband had the steak and mushrooms which he really enjoyed as well. In fact it was so good we asked them to prepare a meal to take back to someone who was not well at our hotel - they enjoyed the meal as well. I ordered... More

The pictures on wall were as if you were in cuba. Food exceptional and sangria awesome. They were down staff but we still got excellent service. You can sit at bar, outside, or inside. The have dancing and a band.

This restaurant in downtwon Detroit offers real nice Cuban cuisine. Sat outside on the patio in a very comfortable and relaxing atmostphere. Service was good despite it being very busy. The appetizers were so good, that we just kept ordering more. WOW. I can only imagine what the paella and main courses must be like. I can't wait to come... More

I went with a group of friends and the food was good, but the service was terrible. The waitress kept forgetting our drinks, and failed to mention they didn't have Tres Leches after we waited for 35 minutes. After dinner we asked for the check to be split and our server said they can't do it. We call the General... More

I've ate a lot of Cuban food on my trips to Florida. I think I know a little about the genre. I have to say, this is pretty good Cuban, and as food goes Downtown, some of the best you'll get anywhere. (There's a lot of crappy & over-priced food down here!) Lunch was pretty reasonable and filling.
