Authentic greek food. It is a cramped little restaurant in Greektown. It is a good place to go for a quick bite such as a couple of gyros. They seat you quickly and the food is quickly brought out. You can even order the flaming cheese if you like! Opa!

The Gyro and Spinach Pie are wonderful. Cooked just right and flavorful. The beer prices are average and there isn't much selection. The gyro meat is "Traditional Greek" and not "Coney Island Style". The gyro loaf of meat looks like it was made "in-house" and not shipped here frozen from Chicago. The filo topping on the spinach pie is cooked... More

The signage and outward appearance makes you believe it is a restaurant that has seen its better day, but don’t let it fool you. The food is great, and the service friendly. We ate an early dinner prior to going to a Tigers game. It was about 4 PM on a Friday and we had no problem being seated. Our... More

My husband couldn't wait on our visit to detroit to stop by here to get a gyro. It was huge and so authentic right in greektown. Give this place a try!

We have been going to the Golden Fleece for years. It is a very small place. If you sit at the counter you can watch your food be prepared. The food is excellent. The price is right! The wait staff is friendly and appear to enjoy each other. Our waiter took us upstairs to see their remodeled roof top bar... More

Wow, what a surprise. The quality of the food was amazing and better than other Greek places that charge twice as much! I highly recommend the Gyros plate and the Opah! The lunch crowd was huge so we knew it had to be good.

My family has only tried a couple of the many Greek restaurants on the strip because we go back to Golden Fleece every time we're down there now. My husband is all about the original gyros while I'm incredibly impressed with the chicken ones. Last time we went, I wasn't too hungry so I just got a side of rice,... More

I had a friend introduce me to this restaurant when we were in high school, which was 30+ years ago. The same family still owns and operates the restaurant today. A great place and a great value. OPAH !!!!

We grabbed gyros to go and we were completely floored about how fantastic they were. Having traveled many places for work and had our share of average Greek food it was awesome to find this little restaurant. This place is definitely on our list to return to. Reasonable pricing as well.

Small and cute restaurant with authentic food, reasonable prices and menu. The gyros are big and good but the meat was a little dry for my liking. The atmosphere was good and the waitress was also good.
