We came here primarily because it is located directly across the street from Comerica Park where the Tigers play. Typically, restaurants situated right near sporting venues leave a lot to be desired but this place was definitely an exception. The decor is original, meaning restored wood bar, accents and moldings. The tables are nicely spaced so you don't feel you... More

looks like a great place, but we were fooled. Hair in our salad, mold on our cheesecake. I was not impressed with either of our $24 entrees. Our server was MIA most of the time we were there. The Makers Mark and coke that I ordered with my dinner came out after the bill was dropped off. I had to... More

I would say the dining experience in this restaurant is heavily dependent on the server's experience and friendliness. We were fortunate to have a very good server on a very crowded evening. The food overall was very good. The Calamari appetizer was unique and outstanding. Great wine selection.

So glad this restaurant re-opened! Its conveniently located across from Tiger stadium and next to the Fox Theatre and just happens to have friendly service, great ambiance & of course my favorite food. Thanks for a fantastic meal last weekend!

My two friends and I went to the Foxtown Grille for dinner before the opera last night, what a disappointment. Though it was a Saturday night we came early at 5:30 pm so it was not too busy. The waitress was unfriendly to downright rude. All three of us were disappointed with the food entrées and we were actually laughing... More

I made a reservation here because they said they valet service for the Fox Theater. What a joke. You pull up only to be told you have to park in a structure. I told them when I made the reservation that my husband could not walk. The attendant was incredibly rude. We never had dinner and missed the show. Such... More

We used to love this restaurant. We attended the theater last night and decided to try the reopened Grille. What a mistake. First the host told us if we did not pair with the people behind us (4 lovely ladies) we would have to wait 40 minutes due to reservations. We complied. Crazy 2 other couples came in that was... Great location. Good service. Fair food. But odd policies. Was told they couldn't split checks, maybe that was a "wouldn't" from our server. Menu stated I got a "starch" with my entree. Asked for the side of pasta. Was told they only have mashed potatoes on the weekend. So that pretty much destroys their credibility as an Italian restaurant. 15%... More
