Eclectic menu, large portions

Came here to sample the beer after a Motor City Brew Tour and stayed to sample the food. I had the huevos rancheros and my husband had the crab eggs Benedict. Huge portions of delicious food.

I hadnt been to Traffic Jam in years. My husband and I started and ended with appetizers. The chicken, black bean and cheese nacho was terrible. The waiter brought the nachos to the table covered in a white lettuce with tomatoes. The nachos were had no flavor and the cheese and black beans were cold. I couldn't even eat it,... More

Average food, OK beer, great staff in an odd setting. Off the beaten path a bit so street parking is available in addition to the lot across the street.

I've visited the restaurant several times and I'm still scratching my head as to how this is such a favorite choice with folks. For vegetarians this isn't a very veggie-friendly destination. The bar is also a bit lackluster and could use some new energy. The ongoing parking feud with the brewery across the street is also getting fairly tired.

We went here for dinner with another couple and had a great experience. The bread that came to the table was very good, house made. We had the corned beef and cabbage roll appetizer which was very good. We also had the fish and chips which was good and the Michigan salad which was good, it just needed a different... More

We came in from out of town and saw their menu and their house beers so we figured we'd give it a try. Upon arrival not one of the 4 beers listed was available which was disappointing. The chicken marsala however was not. Very good and I highly recommend it. The vegetables were very fresh

Yet another comfortable place to eat in Detroit's up and coming Midtown area. The food was good and so was the in-house brewed beer. Service was fast and friendly, even though the place was busy. Also like the quirky décor.

My wife and I visited Detroit this week and thought it would be a great chance to try one of the local places featured on Diners, Drive-In's and Dives. We both enjoyed the fried pickle spears for starters. We also liked the portobello mushroom soup. What left us dissappointed was their featured sandwich, the braised beef brisket panini was too... We enjoyed Sunday lunch here. One had the thrice-diced salad and another the Michigan salad which were excellent and generous portions. The Ethiopian Platter was disappointing - it tasted stale and compared unfavorably to food from other Ethiopian restaurants we enjoyed. The bean soup was also disappointing as it was thin, contained few beans and was served lukewarm. They offer... More
