I've been coming to this restaurant forever and quality really seems to have gone down hill in recent years. I still love the chocolate cheese cake with coffee ice cream and homemade chocolate sauce it's really amazing. Service is generally horrible here, and to be honest it's kind of universally known. It's great to go to motor city brew works... More

Cute place to eat, good food a little over priced for lunch though. I would eat there again and have a beer or two next time.

We go here often. They finally changed the menu so it's a little more diversified. They were featured on diners, dives and drive-ins. I like a lot more items on the menu now. If we don't eat here when downtown we usually stop in for their homemade ice cream and desserts.

Love the atmosphere and the food. Rooftop urban garden keeps food fresh and tasty. Take the tour the history surrounds you.

You'll never have a disappointing meal here. It has been family owned for decades and the owners are directly involved in quality.

If you want a micro-brew, blue ribbon homemade cheese and fresh baked pie this is your lunch or dinner spot in the Wayne State University area. The Traffic Jam used to be the bar, the Snug was the restaurant. The two were joined decades ago and the marriage has been happy ever after. The neighborhood is beginning to gentrify, but... More

The Traffic Jam has been a mid-town institution for a long time. They are Michigan's oldest micro-brew pub and smallest dairy. The atmosphere is very fun. The menu is an eclectic selection with many options and quite a few vegetarian choices. The cheese, bread, and beer are all homemade too. Traffic Jam is a great choice for a night out... More

Had never heard of this place before, we were visiting for the auto show and a friend who lives in the city met us for a tour around Detroit and he is the one who took us here. We loved the building and the atmosphere, the staff was friendly and the service was very good. Food portion size was very... More

We had five people go to the Traffic Jam before an event at the Fox Theatre. The place is huge, so getting seated was not a problem. My teenage kids liked that they had seen this place on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives on the Food Network. The atmosphere was to our liking - pretty informal, but interesting with the pictures... More

We went today after going to the DIA. The main dishes we had: chicken marsala and pot roast were very good. Really good actually. The appetizer we had, cheesy nachos was good too. What wasn't that good were the sides (wedge fries) and the dessert (gingerbread cake). Overall, the place is really interesting and different. I'd go back, just wouldn't... More
