Two couples of a "certain" age drove around the corner after the Crash Detroit Festival and had a wonderful meal. We were greeted at the door by our lovely hostess who showed us to a nearby booth. We sat down and realized we wanted to move to a table and they accommodated us readily with no hassle. Our server was... More

A group of friends and I decided to make a trip downtown to the Traffic Jam. They are known for their in-house bakery, microbrewery, and dairy. They even grow some of their own herbs up on their roof top. I decided to try their house brewed dopplebock braised beef brisket Panini sandwich. It comes with potato salad. It is a... More

Although this place might not look like much from the outside the food really is fantastic. They have their own beer too which is ok, but the food here makes it well worth a visit.

We were a party of eight with reservations and we arrived on time. Our table was prepared and we were seated promptly. We had a great server who took our orders quickly and returned with appetizers, drinks and entrees all correctly placed and prepared. Everything you want from a great dinner out.

Upon recommendation, our business team went for dinner. We did make a reservation for 8 at 6:30. The staff did not seem ready for us. We had one waiter who was really busy and we had to seek him out to get service. I was disappointed that some items on the menu were already unavailable. The concept is great but... More

Like the menu, eclectic. I wasn't blown away by their own beer. Like that it's survived in the city for many years.

I really wanted to like this restaurant as a native Detroiter and fan of Guy and the triple D show. I had their signature dish that Guy liked, the brisket Panini and must say I was not impressed. I think something must have changed since Guy was there. The sandwich is served on a huge piece of bread and some... More

I was taken here for a business lunch. The hosts said they liked it because it is large so larger parties could easily get seated without fuss, sufficiently quiet so conversations could take place and the food is good. I had the brisket panini which was featured on Diners Drive-ins and Dives. It did not disappoint. The flavor was terrific.... More

Friendly wait staff, good food, unique atmosphere. I've been coming here for many years, and I've never been disappointed.

The food here is pretty good. Nothing is super excellent and worth raving, but the inside looks great and the service is more than helpful. Be cautious of the iced tea; the "slight" cinnamon taste, as it's described, is very strong and quite nauseating.
