Authentic! Just like Mexican restaurants in Phoenix, AZ. But without the "outdoor air conditioning". HOT Corn chips are a must. Go HOT with the salsa!! Classic tacos are the best. Decor is great as well. Check this place out.

We like to go here as a group and it pleases everytime.. There is also one in Utica, its a little smaller but the food is just as good.. The Margaritas are one of a kind.. The kids like it too... we always get the Enchalada rancheros it is the best..

We have been going here for years. Today was the first time I could say I was disappointed. Mild Salsa tasted like tomato sauce, food was not at its beat like I remember. My husband had the combination plate, taco shells were greasy. Taste was average. I had the steak tacos, which would have been good if there wasn't so... More

Location and parking was good. No wait to be seated. the fajitas was bland. Not bad just not good. I would not order those again. The service was friendly but not consistent. Had to look for the server several times for our needs.

I ordered the Mexican sandwich, was told by the waiter it did not have beans on it. It came totally covered with refried beans. Waiter forgot to bring rice/beans for the rest of the table. Hard to get him to refill the tortilla chips. Not impressed. The food didn't even taste that good. Certainly better restaurants out there.

We ducked in to beat the bumper to bumper from the snow. Warm and cheery classic mexican colors. Quickly greeted and seated and had warming margaritas. Unique menu was a variety of sauces just described as house special sauce. I got one of the recommended house specials pork prepared three ways that was really good served with rice and beans... Since I work not too far from Mexican Village Restaurant sometimes I drive down to Mexican town in SW Detroit and stop at one of the Mexican restaurants. Mexican Village is just as good as most any other Mexican restaurants. It is quite large and quite a few people go here. So, in other words the food is usually fresh.... More

I inquired what the most popular dishes are here (brazzos, fajitas and the village special). We ordered steak fajitas for 2, with extra cheese. (see photo) The portions were above average, but not huge. The melted cheese on top was amazing -- browned and tasty. The steak was a cheap cut, cooked too done for our taste. More importantly, the... More
