I'm starting to question if the treats are made in house .. the larger cakes just feel manufactured ... but the taste is right. . History ... tradition .. great location in Greek town [ and royal oak ] .. there's better out there but nothing sticks out as " wrong " here..

The people here are very nice and it's in Greektown a cool part of the city. The snacks are endless and the coffee options are also pretty good. You can take out or eat in as it has a small seating area. Not sure what else you need to know. Make sure you have a stop here if you're in... More

This place is a treasure in Greektown. It's clean, the folks are friendly and the pastries are to drive miles for. I can never decide on just one dessert as the cases are full of beautiful goodies to take home and hide from the kids!

Skip dessert at the restaurant and go to Astoria Pastry Shop. So many different options … and so delicious! It is a tradition for our family to go there after dinner whenever we make it to Detroit. You will not be disappointed. The place is small, and there is no sit-down option, so plan on taking your desserts "to-go" and... More

The remodeled Astoria Pastry Shop is now a feast for the eyes as well as having the best Mediterranean and European pastries. You may have to wait in line, and it's a bit pricey, but it's worth the time and money.

Beautiful pastries. The variety is terrific, quality excellent. Very busy most of the time but the service is efficient. I have in the past used them for large quantity order for parties. Everything was very well received.

I honestly haven't had anything bad from this bakery and everyone I know who's gone there agrees. The rumballs are my favorite, along with the tiramisu. The chocolate filled cannolis are really good too. It tends to be busy sometimes but you usually get waited on pretty quickly. They usually provide fast and friendly service.

A must-stop for us anytime we are in Greektown. A wide variety of desserts and breads.... I favor the cannolis, and always get several to take with me. There is very limited seating if you wish to sit and enjoy your purchase there. This is a tiny, quaint pastry shop, and it can get very busy, so being patient and... More
