Amazing bakery with something for everyone

Astoria can be crowded, but for good reasons. Rows and rows of choices make this bakery a must-visit.

It's unfortunate that I ever discovered this place. I keep on going back! Have never had a thing that I didn't love. I am Canadian and cross the border for no reason other than to go here. BEST deserts ever!!!

We stopped in here after a lunch at the Golden Fleece. They have an impressive assortment of yummy pastries and I strongly suggest that you do NOT go in here if you're hungry! We purchased an assortment of pastries to take back to our hotel to enjoy that evening. All were fresh and very delicious.

A French/American style pastry shop in Greek Town, well, I never... After a Greek nosh this is the place to go. The Greek meals in the various restos are very filling but remember breakfast is coming. I like the cheesecakes and chocolate cakes best, but there are other things. If you allow yourself in the door it will be difficult... More

So many different baked goods to chose from, it's hard to narrow your choices. I had a delicious Michigan cherry and chocolate chip cookie that stands out in my mind.

As we walked down the sidewalk in Greektown - we peered into the window of this place and were drawn right into the door by the beauty! Glass cases full of beautiful creations of yummy things! We bought a few things just to try them. Delicious desserts and they were just so pretty and almost afraid to eat them. They... More

I have been to the little shop a few times to grab some sweets. They also have ice cream and everything is priced reasonable. I will continue to stop here when I am in town.

Found in the two block stretch of Greektown in downtown Detroit, this pastry shop has delicious offerings. Cakes, cannelloni, eclairs, tarts, cookies, and ice cream sucked us right in. The double chocolate cake was delicious. Prices were typical for pastry and coffee. There is only seating for about ten people, but although we were there on a busy, late Saturday... More

Love Astoria for it's large range of homemade cakes, pastries, and cookies. This location is in the heart of Greek Town so if you are in the area and have a craving for something sweet this is the place to go. I had the german chocolate cake which was so rich and yummy. My son always gets crème brulee and... More
