Yummy!

Excellent freshly baked treats! So many selections to tempt you, and well worth a stop, especially in mild weather. Limited seating inside. Grab a favorite and stroll Monroe Street, then go back for some goodies to take home just before you leave.

My family has tried almost all of their desserts over the years. Amazing array of delectable desserts.

Astoria Bakery is conveniently located in Greektown in Detroit, actually across the street from the casino. I've been a frequent patron, because it's the only local bakery within walking distance of home. The service is great, the workers are friendly, and you can be sure what you're getting is fresh because there is a constant stream of shoppers. I think gambling... More

Just walking in the door my eyes were overwhelmed by the beautiful pastries. I couldn't try one of everything but I did try the baklava, it was delicious. This will certainly be on my list of places to visit the next time I am in Detroit. If you love pastries you should go there too.

Walking in and getting a whiff of the all delectable treats is almost enough to put you into a sugar coma. And well worth it. It's impossible to decide, unless you have a specific taste for something before you walk in, otherwise you'll be drooling on the glass. We finally settled on some chocolate covered cake concoction, and a dozen... More

I had the chance to get a cup-of-joe and a wonderful pastry the day we rode in the MLK bike Detroit. Fantastic food and fresh baked scones, bread and more!

Astoria Pastry Shop is a great place for all kinds of sweet treats. Lots of baklava varieties and a whole lot more. They also have a large sugar free offering. And they take Greektown Casino comps. Well worth a visit.

I love Astoria. I manage to stop here every time I'm in Greektown. Their desserts are fabulous and reasonably priced. I usually get their Tiramisu or Strawberry Shortcake. I would defintely recommend coming here if you have a sweet tooth! Plus the inside is so warm and cozy!

First visit today and I was overwhelmed with the variety of baked goods! We got the enormous cinnamon rolls and the chocolate peanut butter cookies, both were amazing. Prices are a little high but you get what you pay for. I have to agree with the other review concerning the issue of the no number taking. Its very hectic and... More
