the best plan to avoid the terrible ball park food, but you need some major time. Plan on it taking 45 min-hour to get your pizza after you order it. It is worth it!

Came here after multiple people suggested it to us. I had been reading all about the deep dish and it looked amazing so I had to go for it. My wife's not big on pizza sauce so she got a small pan pizza (the smallest of this pizza you can order) and I had a jr. size pepperoni deep dish.... More

When I go home it's a must do on my culinary list!! Pizza, salads, calzones all good. That seafood pizza is the best.

This is some of the best pizza I've had in the city! Located in Detroit's Greektown it's in a great location if your at the casino or at a ball game.

Great pizza. Order some wings as an appetizer and they were remarkable. I've eaten a lot of wings from a lot of different places.

Wow, what a place. This place serves the best deep dish pizza i have ever had. I had the seafood pizza and it rocked. The pizza is so thick and filling that I could only eat two slices. the atmosphere is fun and the staff was great. Allow extra time as these gems take time to bake.

gotta' love the pizza here and the atmosphere seems just right! service was great and as quick as it can be when your pizza is 3" thick! I will make a point of stopping here again when I cross the border-it's worth the drive!

Thank God there is still great places to eat in Detroit such as this! We make a point of eating here when visiting family in SE Michigan. This is the perfect prelude to a night at the casino. The pizza is amazing to the point that it's hard to eat more than one slice and the antipasto salad is great... More

I have eaten Chicago deep dish pizza at UNO, Giordano's and Gino's. While they were all very good, I have never been back and do not plan to. However that is not the case with Pizza Papalis. I first went there in 1995. I have since travelled all over the world and I consider myself a "foodie". The meat lover's... More

My friend and I stopped at Pizza Papalis for lunch prior to a Tiger ball game. The antipasto salad was delicious! The chocolate chip cookie (we took and ate at the game) was fresh and scrumptious!
