Was in Windsor for business and had to visit Mexican town. The decor could be better. But the food and portions were insane. If this place was close to home for me, I would be easily 100lbs over weight

Went for lunch with my coworker, service was fast, and food was authentic and excellent. $5-$8 lunch can't go cheaper than that for great Mexican food experience. Will go again. The only negative think about this place is the chairs and tables are very close to each other which makes it difficult for the servers to navigate between them.

While last evening's visit to Xochi's brought the dependable food, service and ambiance that hasn't changed in the nearly 30 years we've patronized this establishment, we discussed after we left that something was not just right with our $11.50 half-litre carafe of margarita. Based on the taste and lack of "buzz", we were in full agreement that we spent nearly... More

I have been going to Xochi's since the late 70's. I can't say that I have ever had a bad meal here. It is a great place to eat, never a wait, for any size group, fast cautious service, good food. I have fallen into the trap of ordering the cheese chimichanga, literally every time. There are few other restaurants... More

We haven't been here in years. I truly don't think anything has changed. We came for lunch today...enjoyed the botanas, mini super nachos, and beef burritos! Everything was perfect! The service was awesome as well. I don't think we could have gone wrong with any dish on the menu. Loved the added touch of the parking lot security.

I have been eating here for 35 years and since we have moved we still make it a must stop when we pass thru Detroit. The food is real good and service is good and price is good. You will not be disappointed.

The menu attached to this link is NOT correct, per the owners of the restaurant!! For example, there is NO lunch fajitas and the regular priced fajitas are 17.99

I've gone to Xochimilco for over 30 years and rarely had a disappointing experience. It is not haute cuisine, but they have good ingredients and prepare the dishes well. The botana appetizers are a real treat. The chimichangas were nicely crisp on the outside. The prices are very reasonable.

Xochi's is one of many great eateries in the Mexicantown district of Detroit. It is a good if not better than most. The whole area is pretty busy from lunch thru evening. You may not be used to this type of 'old nieghborhood' but it is pretty safe ... not to mention that police dec tectives and special operation teams... More

If you are looking for something better than Taco Bell, Tex-Mex or just used to bland food, Mexican Garden or Mexican Fiesta come here. . If you like this kind of fare this is your place. I wouldn't take my family here if someone paid me. The food was pricy for Mexican food. If you are looking for authentic flavors,... More
