Out of the cold

Went to the Tigers game and it was freezing so we left after three innings and decided to find some warmth and good food. My brother suggested this place and I am glad he did. The sliders were tasty and prepared nicely. The beer was nice and cold. I loved the look of the place and the service was... read more

Awesome sliders and sides, great drinks, terrific atmosphere - all at an affordable price. If you're in the neighborhood, you simply must stop by! The only downside is that there can be a wait. That said, it's worth your time!

Green Dot was recommended by a friend. We went for lunch. When we arrived it was very busy but we were still greeted quickly and waited less than 5 minutes for a table. Our waiter was friendly and explained the menu. We had to wait a good 20 minutes for our food. We ordered quite a bit-( there were four... More

Upon my re-arrival to Detroit, my best friend introduced me to Green Dot Stables. Luckily, I had my rubber horse mask in my purse, and was able to whip it out for a quick pic. The place was pretty busy for a Monday night... I would definitely recommend coming on a weekday. I really enjoyed the concept of the restaurant...... More

Waited 90 mins for sliders.... They were good sliders but 90 mins? People love this place but there are so many better restaurants in the area. Sloe's, Mercury Burger.... The list goes on. Had three types of sliders but really they are just tiny portions of a sandwich you can buy anywhere else in 10 mins. Wait staff was nice... More

Much to recommend here in spite of an off-putting exterior entrance that looks like it belongs to a "dive" bar. The dinning area has a warm feel and the bar is promptly attended to by an excellent staff. Good seating and on this Friday a nice mix of regulars and visitors. A modest number of children. The specialty is clearly... More

Stopped off here for lunch and wow, what a treat! Had the buffalo chicken, philly cheese steak and new york hot dog sliders and each one was delicious! Another must visit for my future trips to Detroit.

Dan the man fed us well. We tried pretty half the menu. PB&J with bacon is a must. Fried chicken was great. The sage syrup made my tastebuds tingle with joy. Don't forget to finish off with a smores slider. Of course add bacon. Why? Cause everything tastes better with bacon!

I had heard about Green Dot Stables and finally paid a visit. The place was packed, but we got lucky and were seated quickly. The decor was very interesting, and the server was right there to explain the menu, offer beer choices and answer our questions patiently. The sliders are delicious, and served so cute. All in all, a great... More
