Always my First Stop!

My husband is from Detroit, and he brought me here on my first visit. I love the retro location and feel. It feels like you are stepping back into the 70s. They may be offering "just" sliders, but don't be fooled- they are delicious and refined. This is a place you crave and come back to again... read more

We visited Green Dot Stables a few months back and really enjoyed it. The place seems to be always packed, so be prepared to wait, but the wait is worth it. There were a few times where we couldn't wait and ended up at Johnny Noodle King, another restaurant owned by the same people. At any rate, the small plate... More

Great option to order different sliders, so you can try out different types and order as many as you think you need to fill up! Got very busy (not sure if they take bookings) so expect to wait if you have a group. But a good choice of drinks to help pass the time by.

The place was packed. Had to wait about 30 minutes for a table, but it was well worth it. The food was great. Portions are small so you can feel adventerous and not feel guilty if you don't like something. Between us, we tried 10 different sliders, all of which were very good. It was also very helpful to have... More

Scruffy and 3 office mates were in town in March for a matinee Wings-Blues matchup. Beers and sliders all around after a close OT victory. A wide selection of sliders to suit any fan's palate as well as an assortment of French fries. Entire gang indicated that all selections were delicious. The entire fare and beers are reasonably priced. No... More

This is an eclectic building in a dumpy neighborhood, but the food, drinks, and staff were great! We went during offpeak hours so it wasn't that crowded. Drinks were cheap and the sliders we're awesome! Between my hubby and I we tried almost every kind! Truffle fries were delicious and so cheap!!! Would definitely recommend and will go back!!

Small restaurant with simple menu comprised of a multitude of creative gourmet sliders, libations, a couple sides and nothing costs more that 5 dollars? How can you possibly go wrong? My favorites include: the fried chicken, the gyro and the philly. Also don't miss the truffle fries. It gets busy, be warned.

Cool little spot for locals and tourists. Love the $3 sliders and the wide variety of selections. The cocktail menu was beyond affordable too! This place is happening and has quite the hipster scene. Will go back next time in Detroit!

The Green Dot Stables has very tasty (and interesting) sliders, a solid selection of beer, and at least from the East Coast perspective, darn good prices. The people at the bar were quite friendly, and it looks like a popular place for locals. The menu is limited though.

Our lunch was good, not outstanding. Ordered burger sliders for the kids which were overcooked. The kale salad was the best I've ever eaten. Excellent hummus. Philly Cheese sliders were a bit dried out. Ordered seconds on Truffle Fries. Interesting menu. Good service.
