We are thoroughly excited to see the resurgence of business and energy returning to downtown Detroit. We didn't even mind waiting 1 hour for a table at this restaurant because it was exciting to see the restaurant doing so well. Regrettably, we were seated in booths that were obviously originally booths for 2 people, not 4 so it was tight... More

Maybe it's due to the lack of good choices for breakfast down town but this place was packed (50 minute wait). It even took 10 minutes to get a cup of coffee from the take out counter. The best thing was the size of the portions - hard to leave hungry. There are definitely some cool sounding options but we... More

Three of us went here because we heard how amazing it was. Don't get me wrong the food was good but NOT worth the $80 breakfast cost. French toast, eggs bending with potatoes, cheese grits, an omelet and 3 fresh oj's ($7each) shouldn't cost so much and not be amazing.

I chose this place because my grandson's name is Hudson. However it turned out to be delicious food and a great staff. I will certainly return

Me and the hubs were in town for the Detroit Auto Show. OK, so the wait was long. Rather 50 minutes long...but who cares? When you order your meal and see how big your servings are and taste how delicious your food is, it is well-worth it. We ordered the Chunky Monkey Pancakes. Let me say they were THE BEST... More

Loved the staff here, they were friendly and helpful. We had the red velvet pancakes (must try!) and the Baja omelette. Both were great and filling! Would definitely go back! Was not expensive compared to a lot of brunch places, paid around 25$ for two people. Would recommend

This is my favorite breakfast place in Detroit. The portions are huge and taste heavenly. Prices are just right. The coffee drinks are kind of cold but everything is perfect.

I really liked this place and the people are cool. The food is delicious and the service is fast. It's a bit pricey for breakfast, but walking around a city that is still in a state of decay to enter a place that is really nice, clean and comfortable is a nice break for the mind... I mean this place... More

I am a pancake nut! I almost never order pancakes out because I love my own. These are huge are delicious, definitively enough to share. We were in town for the weekend and ate here twice. The omelettes were just as large and delicious.

Service is good but our food was under cooked. And flavor was not the greatest. Atmosphere is nice, but it took a long to be seated. Maybe next time we will try something different from the Manu.
