The sushi there was very good. Dessert looked delicious although I did not try any. Service was very good and professional. We had a lovely table with a nighttime view of the Detroit River and Canada.

Had a fantastic meal here. Seafood and steaks are all good. Service is great and the place has a touch of class about it. There is outside dining when weather allows or just sit on the terrace and grab a cold beer?

A property of Joe Vicari's dining empire (Andiamo, et al) the new place may have the same cook book as the revered dining establishment on Gratiot Ave (now gone; a vacant lot today), but it does not hold a candle when it comes to service or food. Waiters lack training; the kitchen gang can barely use a broiler correctly. It... More

Was in Detroit on a Tiger's baseball weekend and stayed at the Courtyard. While walking along the waterfront saw Joe's and had to try it. Spectacular is the word!!! The view of the waterfront was picturesque, our server Wayne was awesome; a local who shared some funny Detroit stories, oh and the food........great, delicious, wish I had 2 stomachs so... More

Loved the location along the Detroit river walk. The food is expensive but worth it. Outrageous steak and seafood prepared and seasoned perfectly. Waiter was knowledgeable, entertaining and attentive.

Recommend: Any Sushi Roll Shrimp Cocktail Steak Delmonico The restaurant features nice views of the Detroit river and neighboring Canada. The sushi rolls are very fresh and made right next to the bar for you to watch. The shrimp are nice and lump. Be sure to get extra horseradish if you want an extra kick. The Steak Delmonico was packed... More

We celebrated my birthday at the ren cen joe muers. The original Joes, that was on Gratiot, used to be our all time favorite. This was our first visit to the new one. Having a reservation and request for a window table for our celebration, we were seated at probably one of the worst seats in the house.....behind the piano... More

August 22,2014 ~ After researching several top restaurants, we made the decision for Joe Muer Seafood for our 50th wedding anniversary dinner. We are thrilled that we did! Everything about our evening was SO first class!! We had a wonderful table looking over the river; a fine waiter - Calvin, and the meal was excellent. We started with shrimp cocktail... More

My wife and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here and it was phenomenal! We ordered every course and every course exceeded our expectations. The Block Island Swordfish melted in your mouth. We ordered the mac and cheese because it was big enough to share. We truly appreciated the recommendation but there was actually enough for four adults. The only... More

I had a wonderful meal at Joe Muer's. The food was incredibly tasty. The view and atmosphere were very pleasing. Staff were attentive and friendly. Service was a little slow but we had a party of 22 that I'm sure impacted it. Highly recommend and hope to return.
