Good Lunch

I came in and sat at the bar. The bartender quickly came over with a menu. I asked what was better the clam chowder or the lobster bisque, he said they are both good. I hate that answer. I ordered the bisque and fish sandwich. He brought me some bluefish smoked spread and bread fro a snack... read more

Made reservations for a birthday celebration. It was our first time there, and all of us were very excited to go. The venue is lovely and the service was very attentive however while we were seated there was live entertainment and it was so loud that we could not have a proper conversation and could barely hear our server explain... We came in for dinner after a Wings game and sat at the bar. The food and the view were outstanding as usual. But what made this experience so enjoyable was Tammy behind the bar. She was attentive, friendly, and very funny! Thanks Tammy, you made our day!!

We had a superb meal here last night. The lobster soup was delicious, with layer upon layer of flavor. They serve the soup over the chunks of lobster, so that the meat is not over cooked. Our seafood was prepared exactly as we like it, and those were the BEST clams and mussels I have EVER eaten! We really didn't... More

Fabulous meal, fabulous service, fabulous view. Had a wonderful evening, we were seated at a table by the windows overlooking the Detroit River. The ice was breaking up and flowing down the river. It all made for a perfect evening with friends. The Dover sole was out of this world. You must save room for the coconut cake.

My 12 year old nephew wanted to ceebrate his birthday here. He wanted the crab legs which were huge and so scrumptious. The tiger shrimp dish was good too, a little spicy. The cheescake had a great texture and was da bomb

I am a fan of the original Joe Muer's on Gratiot. Our family has fond memories of dining at Muer's. We shared the Crab Ball appetizer and it was a trip down memory lane! My salad with grilled Salmon was excellent. The view of the river was great. I am ancious to go back.

The wait staff is extremely polite and accommodating. We all loved our meal. I had no problem navigating my gluten free status. The view of the Detroit River was spectacular with the ice flowing and reflections on the water. We had our dessert by the piano bar. The cappuccino was pipping hot and full of foam. We valet parked as... More
