August 22,2014 ~ After researching several top restaurants, we made the decision for Joe Muer Seafood for our 50th wedding anniversary dinner. We are thrilled that we did! Everything about our evening was SO first class!! We had a wonderful table looking over the river; a fine waiter - Calvin, and the meal was excellent. We started with shrimp cocktail... More

My wife and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here and it was phenomenal! We ordered every course and every course exceeded our expectations. The Block Island Swordfish melted in your mouth. We ordered the mac and cheese because it was big enough to share. We truly appreciated the recommendation but there was actually enough for four adults. The only... More

I had a wonderful meal at Joe Muer's. The food was incredibly tasty. The view and atmosphere were very pleasing. Staff were attentive and friendly. Service was a little slow but we had a party of 22 that I'm sure impacted it. Highly recommend and hope to return.

Very enjoyable food served extremely professionally, if a little slowly. The flavours are varied, well put together and the standard of cooking is worth a visit and a parting of you and quite a large bucket of cash.

We arrived and were brought to sit at a table along the window viewing the beautiful riverfront facing Caesars Windsor. Our waiter Alyssa was top notch. I will recommend her to anyone. She just recently finished her last exam and is now a CWP. (Certified Wine Professional) Her passion for showing you the best wine for your buck is pretty... More

The restaurant is very convenient if you are staying at the Marriott or visiting the Renaissance Center. The food was good, but pricey. I enjoyed the seafood tower but I've had better dover sole.

My wife, father, daughter and son-in-law had lunch, as a celebration of my wife's birthday mad my daughter's "white coat" ceremony for starting medical school. The treatment we received was special, the help made a big deal of both occasions, treating both my wife and daughter to special drinks to start the meal and a huge piece of carrot cake... More

Went for a business dinner with my boss, and his boss. Nice view of the river. Piano player, music, busy, not the best for conversations, but still fun. Watch out for upselling. We had a very nice, young waitress, who refused to take our order as we placed it. We wanted a particular bottle of wine, she told us she... More

I went here for lunch, the service was fast food quality good. The service personal very friendly. For the level of appearance they give I would of expected higher quality of food. The food was not bad but when I compare this to other four starI restaurants I don't feel it was as good. The views are incredible and a... More

I was very excited about the prospect of eating at the famous Joe Muer's Seafood restaurant. It's located in the Renaissance Center overlooking the Detroit River and Canada - fantastic views! The service was impeccable and the food was good, not great, and not what I expect at this level restaurant. I had the Great Lakes Walleye and somehow, I... More
