I had not eaten at this restaurant before but had always heard good things. This was an important business dinner and the venue proved to be perfect. The food, wine and service were flawless. It is expensive but for the purpose of this exercise, worth it. Put it on your list for important client dinners

From the time we entered until we left, everything was first class. Our waiter Kurt, was very professional, attentive and friendly. At least 5 of the staff wished me a Happy Birthday. Our salad and chowder were very good, but the Scottish Salmon and Mahi Mahi were excellent. My Carrot Cake came with a birthday candle and made me feel... More

If I can't recall what I ate a couple days later, it just wasn't that outstanding. The restaurant is large, feels like a bit of a maze (try finding the restrooms), and the atmosphere is a bit old-school. It is vibrant and somewhat loud although it has beautiful views of the waterfront if you can get a window-side table. I... More

Joe Meur's is always wonderful! We were there on Saturday night, pre theater, and were not disappointed! The atmosphere is lovely and the food EXCELLENT! There were 4 in our party and every one of us was happy and very impressed with our meals. Our waiter, Kurt, couldn't have been more attentive or more accomodating. Whatever we asked for, we... More

Joe Muer's was an historical restaurant in Detroit. It reopened two years ago in a new location and in conjunction with Andiamos. Yes, you can recreate wonderful, classic dishes and attentive service with a beautiful view of the river and the Windsor skyline. A must visit in Detroit in any season

We had the best meal at Joe Muer's - this should be the place to go for your anniversary dinner. Very romantic with a view of the river, excellent food and service.

I went with my wife for her birthday with friends also celebrating a birthday. The owner sat us in a large booth looking over the river with a great view. The appetizers of white fish pate and white beans and a bread basket were great and kept coming. The main courses were also outstanding. We got the scottish salmon, dover... More

The Stuffed Flounder isn't quite as good as it was at the original restaurant on Gratiot, but it's still far better than you can get anywhere else. Didn't quite like that our waitress was tied up breaking shellfish for another table, but otherwise the service was good - but again, not quite like at the old place. But to offset... More
