This restaurant has left the scene for several years after returning. They have the old favourites of before on the menu combined with a set of new, modern ones. Very good fish and sea food. Excellent service with a smile and a story but wothout getting to your nerves or being too present. Nice view towards Canada. Seatin outside is... More

I had the trout (delicious). The manager, accommodated our big business trip with separate checks, and service was professional and knowledgable. The view of the water was gorgeous. I would gladly go there again.

Visited Joe Muer's last Saturday with 9 family members. I was particularly anxious to try the restaurant, as I grew up in Detroit and had frequented the original Joe Muer's when it was on Gratiot Ave. years ago. I loved the atmosphere and the view of the Detroit River with the boats passing by while we were eating. Also enjoyed... More

I dined there this evening and it was excellent. My daughter in-law stated that it was the best meal she ever had. And she's dined all over the country this last couple of years. Ambience was very nice; great service; high quality food... if you're a seafood lover and are in the Detroit area, this is a must stop!

Having been to the old Joe's many many times over the years, we were thoroughly looking forward to visiting the new Joe's @ the Renaissance in Detroit. Being from Windsor, hubby and I decided to stay overnite at the RenCen so we could thoroughly enjoy our evening from the before dinner martini to the after dinner port at the piano... More

I had dinner at this restaurant while attending a conference in Detroit. We ate outside and the view was nice. The lobster bisques soup was average as was the lettuce wedge. The lettuce wedge was quite unusual, it was Roquefort cheese next to the lettuce with French or thousand Island dressing on it. A strange combination in my opinion. I... More

We walked to the Renaissance Center from the Westin Book Cadillac on Sunday for a taste of a highly rated seafood restaurant in Detroit. We sat at the bar and took in views of the water-way dividing Canada from Detroit. Gorgeous summer windy day. I had the lobster roll sansa bread as I am gluten free by choice. I asked... More

We sat on the back deck, with a beautiful view of the water and Canada. The service was perfect, and so was the food. We got crab and lobster, it was some of the best I have ever had! You will not be disappointed!

Restaurant was recommended upon check in at my hotel while traveling on business. Decided to dine in for a light lunch at the sushi bar. The food was simply delicious (Alaskan sushi & carrot cake). The restaurant was clean, service team members were professional and the perfect ambience was an added bonus. My server Merv was attentive and provided first... More
