Fish Dinner with a View of the Detroit River

My husband and I ate dinner at this restaurant on January 26, 2016. We each had a glass of wine - Alma Nega - very good. We began with an appetizer of steamed mussels and they were good. We shared an entree of barramundi which was stuffed with lobster and crabmeat - absolutely delicious. There... read more

Have not been to Joe Muer's since it moved to the Ren Cen and was taken over by the Andiamo group. We were both pleased and disappointed. Parking in the Marriott structure is easy, but $10?, wow. (If you ask, the restaurant staff will give you a $4 off coupon.)The setting and views are great. Fortunately, the traditional seafood oriented... More

Excellent food, atmosphere, and attentive staff. Next to the Detroit river with beautiful views. Convenient parking right across the street from the restaurant, and easy access to and from the freeway.

Our family has enjoyed Joe Muer's for the past 50 years. This is my first time at this location. The views are amazing and the décor quite pleasing. However the service was not up to par, pleasant but detail oriented. We had to ask several times for water and never did get our bread basket. I enjoyed the tiger shrimp,... More

We decided to try Joe Muer's one day for lunch to celebrate a special event in our office. The food and service were great but a little too pricey for lunch. I would definitely recommend this restaurant but would only return for lunch to celebrate a special event.

I have eaten here often and have found it a great place to do business. I strongly recommend paying attention to their daily specials as they are always excellent. The service is very professional and friendly. They know when to serve and are never intrusive.

We attended a retirement party and were seated in a small private dining room. The food was excellent. The wait staff superb.

The atmosphere is really nice, the view of the River & Canada. The service is average, the food looks better than it taste, decent. Nice place to try and a good time with family or friends

Surprisingly good for a restaurant at the RenCenter. Service excellence, nice wine list, interesting cocktails and very good selection of fresh fish Worth a return
