It is what it is...just great Pizza!

A lot of bad hype has been written about this restaurant but, yet it is important to remember that Supino is a just a pizza place. It is actually great pizza at a great price. Sure, it was on Foodnetwork.com and all. But go there do yourself and see how friendly they are and how great the taste... read more

Huh??? That was the thought going through my mind having gone to Supino Pizzeria specifically because of all of the positive online reviews. This was average pizza, but certainly nothing to go out of your way for, or even to crave. If this is Detroit's idea of amazing pizza, then I'm shocked. Well, given the fact that Little Caesar's began... More

They sell this style of pizza. This style of pizza is foreign to many Michiganders. And it is not for everyone use to Michigan pizza . But it is delicious. It is a thin crust ,round thin pizza. It is cooked in the old style ovens. To be honest from a former pizza maker when I was a teenager these... More

This place has been hyped in the national media to epic proportions. You'd swear that eating one of their pizzas would add years to your life if you listened to the pundits. But from my point of view the pizza was pretty darn good. It's not like any other pizza you'll get in town. It's not the $5 Ilitch pie... More

It would be fare to say you can compare the original cheese pizza to the flavors typically located in the NYC area, but while it's very good, it really still isn't what I would call "NY" quality. The crust is painfully thin, but I give them credit for capturing the flavor nuances of a NY style slice. When you try... More

My wife and I were going to see wicked with another couple at the Detroit opera house. Before the performance we wanted to get a bite to eat and started looking for hidden gems in the area. I had seen this place on diners, drive-ins, and dives so we decided to try it out. Location: Positive: only one mile from... More

I saw Supino pizza on Diners, Drive-in and Dives and was excited to try them. I was extra excited after reading all of the great online reviews. Well, I went there today and ordered a pizza to go and couldn't wait to get home to dig in. When I got home and opened the box I swear I thought it... More

Excellent pizza! Seating can be in short supply so be prepared to wait if it's busy. Worth the wait though!

The hype is true...this pizza is delicious! We had a bit of a wait, but it was a Saturday while Eastern Market was happening. It is a tiny restaurant, but so good! Don't miss it!

This place is packed when Eastern Market is open. Everybody waits, and I've heard how good it was, so I had to try it. It was only about 30 minutes for a large pepperoni. You need to be comfortable with people when you're here. Seating is family style. Try to find a chair and join strangers at a table. Lots... More
