Awesome Experience

If you're not a meat eater, stop here. This is not your restaurant. All others, you MUST experience this awesome restaurant! The food, the service, the ambience...all worth it. I would recommend lunch over dinner. It's a $20 difference and the difference is sushi, prime rib, salmon and another meat. But there is so much at lunch, I couldn't imagine... More

While the food is excellent, this place is more of an experience than a restaurant - especially when you are first introduced to the concept. It is a meat lover's paradise but the salad bar is to die for so you really have to pace yourself or you will be too full before the meat starts coming. Once the meat... More

I wasn't a huge fan of the ambiance, but I loved everything else. The fact that I felt a little crowded would be my only complaint. The gauchos were very accommodating & friendly.

This was not my first time at Texas de Brazil, but it was my first time at the downtown Detroit location. I was disappointed in the service provided. Despite making a reservation weeks in advance, our large table was not ready until 15 minutes after the committed time. The hostess pretended to be sympathetic, but still didn't move any quicker... We tried Texas De Brazil for a friend's birthday. The items on the buffet and the meat served were very high quality. We would definitely return. Only wish they offered valet parking. Parking across the street is available for a fee.

So first of all .. I am not a huge "meat eater" .. So for me .. The salad bar was perfect and would have been very happy with that. I would recommend walking ALL the way around it before you start though because the lettuce is actually on the back side .. So if you want to make an... More

I was here for a business lunch and was impressed with the variety of meats that were deliciously prepared and the HUGE salad bar, which could be a meal in itself. The menu is pricey, but this is not the place you'd frequent often. It was a nice treat and I left full & happy!

Wow! Lots of awesome food, great service, fare price. Go light on the salad bar bc a lot of meat will be coming your way! Only complaint is not having more stomach room and parking.

I'm a meat lover, at least I think so. I order meat-lovers pizza. I run my smoker most weekends. The concept of too much meat never occurred to me ... until my boss took our department to Texas de Brazil for a holiday dinner. Holy moley, this place is HARDCORE. Young men come out of the kitchen like they were... More

The place is beautifully decorated. The view is great... looks out over the outdoor ice-skating with all the Christmas lights. We had a very delicious meal, especially the lamb. Service was excellent! Would definitely recommend. It is a bit pricey, but for what you get, not so much. Go hungry!
