We went on a Friday night(630pm) when the Detroit Red Wings were playing so we could not use our Groupon that. It did not make a difference, the price we paid for our RIBS WAS WELL WORTH it!!! The service was excellent to start, we did not have to wait on a table but we just beat the rush for... More

Visited this place after the DIA. I was pleasantly surprised with the place. Waitress was great. Food and beer were also great. There was at least 50 beers on tap. I had the turkey burger and loved it. We will return.

Stopped in before a hockey game. With 5 in our party. Seated immediately and had drinks within 5 minutes. We tried a variety; fried pickles, rib tip, pulled pork, brisket. Rib tips were a little dry but flavorful. Pickles were awesome. Brisket was a little fatty. Best bet is the pulled pork sandwich. Flavorful pork with slaw on Texas toast.... More

Where to begin: Went after a hockey game and was told the kitchen was open for the entire. After sitting for 15 minutes with zero contact by the waiter, we heard the cooks say the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes. Thank Goodness a group of questionable gentlemen came in with their dates and informed all that could hear the... More

Went for lunch. It smelt like cleaning products . The burnt ends are just fatty pieces of meat (pretty sure burnt ends are supposed to be brisket but this seemed like pork) and are not burnt at all. They used to be great. Now they are just over priced bits of meat on top of mashed potatoes!!! Oddest order or... More

visited here before a show at Fillmore. 2nd concert that night at baseball stadium so downtown was packed. Restaurant & bar was PACKED and that was expected. They did a poor job seating people once tables opened....often 6-10 tables empty while gobs of people sardined in bar. Poor bartenders had to bring beers and appetizers to more people than all... It was very empty upon our arrival just after 5:30 p.m. Friday, November 6th. We had very good service to start off. We got our beers and then placed our order. Food was delivered within minutes (maybe 12), which seemed fast to me. We ordered the Detroit with sides of Cole slaw and sweet potato fries. There was pulled pork,... More
