My husband and I stop hear all the time when we go downtown for a Tigers game. This time we asked for a Guinness on draft. What they brought us was not Guinness. If you are a Guinness drinker you know the signs of what it should look like. Thicker stout, dark in color...what we received was thin, watery, and... More

We had a great experience. Our food was absolutely delicious and came out quickly. It's a sports bar kind of place, maybe not ideal for a romantic evening, but definitely a good place to catch up with friends or grab a bite before a game. We'll be back!

The brisket was good, and the variety of sauces were fun, but the place was jammed and the music was blaring. We could barely hear the waitress. Also, beer comes in large glasses, and wine is served in a glass the size of a champagne flute.

I am not normally a rib fan at restaurants but I have to say this place knows what they are doing, service was excellent food was fantastic and they have a ton of beers on tap to explore! In a normal restaurant if you would order a full rack to make sure you have enough

Overrated. Food and service were poor at best. Crowded and noisy place. I'm not sure what all the hype is about because I have been here twice and have had lousy food and bad service both times.

You know you have a good experience when your 12 year old and 8 year old point out how nice your waitress is and how much they loved it. We eat out quite a bit, and good service is hard to come by, let alone GREAT service. We had Jennifer as our waitress and she was super knowledgeable, attentive, and... More

The menu items are named after Detroit natives and are delicious. The Rub Pub has a great location and the front of the restaurant opens up during the summer.

If your looking for great BBQ this is the place. Walk ins welcome, great service and very prompt. Bit crazy on game days or special event days...but wait for it ...it's worth every bite.

My husband and I had dinner at this pub while killing time before a concert downtown in April 2013. The food was to die for, and a great price too! The atmosphere was amazing as well because it was the Tiger's opening day! We had a lot of fun and a great meal.

We like to come here and eat before/after sporting events and other shows. Last visit was Feb. 2013 after a concert at the DSO. It's always crowded and bustling with activity but the food is great. Love their ribs and mac and cheese.
