I ordered a chicken caesar salad to-go and the server said it would be 5 - 10 minutes. I went to the LQ store next door and came back, waited another 10 minutes and she came over and told me she was sorry, she heard me say chicken caesar salad but she told the kitchen “greek” and asked if that... I prefer this to Slows. More varied menu although the corn bread would be better if it was just corn bread without the jalapeño's. 5 different sauces to choose from to suit every one.

Stopped in here for a bite and a beer before the Red Wings game. Menu had a few interesting options. Had a good meal in quick order. Service was very friendly all the way around. Place was busy but they kept everything moving at a very good pace. Above average BBQ and recommended.

We visited Red Smoke recently on the recommendation of a good friend. I'll admit, I usually don't do BBQ/smokehouse restaurants as I'm pretty picky about my BBQ... With that said, I thought Red Smoke was O.K. I wish I could remember our server's name...he was great...developed a great rapport with our table, was friendly, quick and efficient and had a... More

Very good food the Greektown area. Not the best barbecue that I have had but definitely good enough to recommend and to go back to. Lots of restaurant options in the area so tough competition but I will still choose to go here.

went out for a walk from the Ren Center looking for a bite to eat. ended up finding Red Smoke. Smelled delightful as we walked in the door. decided to sit at the bar and give the place a chance. really nice menu with all the typical things you would expect to find at a bbq joint. ended up splitting... I had the rib and pulled pork platter for dinner and it was delicious. The service was good in spite of our party size of 18! Food came out fast and hot. If you are a fan of deep fried pickles, check them out here. The atmosphere caters to sports fans on their way to or from Red Wings, Tigers... More

Wow! The food at the Red Smoke was excellent. I had the pulled pork and spareribs. This was some of the best BBQ I have had. I am from NC and this rivaled some really good NC BBQ. The smokey taste was great. The BBQ sauce I enjoyed was the Molasses-Cherry and several of the other BBQ sauces on the... More

Ordered a bowl of gumbo -- got a cup. It was barely warm and not spicy at all. Ordered a cheeseburger -- got a hamburger. It was OK, but without the jalapeño cheese, it was nothing special. Plus, they might as well not even give you the cole slaw -- I think there was maybe one forkful.
