i thought everything was great from the chicken and the sauces. The workers were very good as they explained the different types of sauces and what they taste like.

This is one of the nicer places to eat in the downtown area near the greektown casino. The decor is clean and modern. Grab a seat by the windows on Monday to watch the summer bike show and interesting characters that bring their bikes out. Craziness! The food was good to above average but not overly spectacular. I had the... More

i was looking for ways to review this place better, but there isn't really much good to say about it the food was far from good and fairly expensive (although not outrageously priced). i ordered the triple play sample. for the price the plate was sparse, everyone at the table commented on how it looked like the plate was empty,... Ate at Red Smoke for the first time last week and we will definitely be back. Great place for BBQ. Try the homemade BBQ chips. To die for. We couldn't eat all our food so we took some home and they even included more BBQ chips for us. Great service.

We've had Red Smoke twice and liked it both visits. We've tried the ribs, pulled pork, and beef brisket. Of the three, the pulled pork is my favorite, and has the best flavor when eaten alone (not dredged in one of their sauces). We're not huge BBQ fans to begin with, so the only sauces we tried were the poblano... More

Went here on a Saturday night with a large group. Seated quickly as it was early in the evening, which was lucky for us -- we had reserved a table for our large group, but they had no record of the reservation. Service was decent, though the waiter had to be reminded a couple of times for water refills. Deep... More

My friend is a competitive BBQ guy and said we needed to try Red Smoke. The place had a very satisfying smell of wood smoke and apple wood is staked about the kitchen entrance. We ordered the meat sampler with a sausage on the side. There were 6 bottles of sauce on the table. The ribs were a dry rub... More

Had the pulled pork sandwich and my wife had ribs. Both were excellent. Service was good and great atmosphere. Will go back.

We were in Detroit for an evening Tigers Game and this is where we decided to have dinner. This restaurant is very close to the Greektown Casino and Hotel and within walking distance to Comerica Park and Ford Field and many other entertainment venues. The restaurant is in an old renovated building. Now to the food. We had the Carolina... More

My best friend took me here after spending a few hours trying our luck at one of Detroit's casinos. It is located across from the Greektown Casino. We were able to walk right in, and were seated at a table next to the front window. Our server greeted us immediately and was very friendly. The menu has lots of options... More
