A very pretty space with raw steel beams, crystal hanging lights and lots of natural wood but the service doesn't match. The food was ok but trying too hard to be clever.

Our Detroit Free Press Marathon training group of 11 conveniently ate at Sap 1924 Grille as it was next door. The portions were smaller than a childs portion at any other restaurant in our memories. "Runners welcome" greeted us as we entered. If you were hosting runners, you would know they "carb load" the night before a race. The runners... More

I recently stayed at the Westin Book Cadillac for a night when I was in Detroit on business. While there, I ate at 24 Grille. I had a wonderful meal -- the food was amazing, but the service was horrendous. After being seated, I waited 10 minutes for my waiter to come over while other tables -- seated after me... More

My husband and I decieded to try 24 Grille for restaurant week. We had never dined there before and thought we would give it a try. What a mistake. We were seated in a small room in the back which had way too many tables for the size of the room. Some people could not even get into their chair... More

We tried 24 grille during restaurant week and were shocked we hadn't been to this gem yet. This is probably the closest to a new York style restaurant in Michigan. The filet was the best filet outside of Bourbon steak. We can't wait to go back and have the full menu.

The food and service were excellent. The austere interior though leaves something to be desired. The menu favors beef. But, they did have swordfish which was very tasty. So, was the Weinerschnitzel. The desserts are homemade and I highly recommend the Creme Brulee. It is one of the best creme brulee's I have ever had and I am pretty picky.... More

Four of us were looking for a quality food experience, eclectic menu, artful presentation, charm, and we found it at the Book Cadillac's Spa 1924 Grille. First we toured the hotel's newly restored spaces. The architectural features were beautifully incorporated into an Asian style setting, with colors, art and furniture all very clean and fresh looking. Then we peeked in... More

I am not usually a fan of hotel restaurants, but my experience at Spa 1924 Grille may change that from now on. I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious fish dinner and excellent salad this past week. Service was attentive and helpful and the cost was moderate. Give it a try
