Angelina's is a favorite, the food, the atmosphere and the staff make for a wonderful experience each time. Everything on the menu is delicious, had the eggplant risotto this time and it was homerun.

Service from our waiter, Brian, was excellent -- very attentive, personable and bordering fun. He was always there when we wanted or needed him and always took the time to answer any questions we may have had and met our requests to complete satisfaction. All of the pasta was very fresh and good. Both the soup and salad were tasty.... More

Great location. Perfect for before an event at the Opera House or the Fox. The papparedelle is amazing. Nice wine selection. Attentive service. In the warm months, there is outdoor seating and the floor-to-ceiling windows are open for great street scenes and people-watching. I give the owner props because he opened in 2008, and is on the vanguard of the... More

Our group enjoyed dinner here before heading to a show at the City Theatre. We parked in the ramp next to Hockeytown where the theatre is located, and then walked a couple of blocks to the restaurant and back. I ordered the spicy minestrone soup and butternut squash ravioli, and my companions had the pork braised ravioli, meatball pizza and... More

Stopped by after the auto show last Saturday night, everything was really really good. It was my first time coming here after a friend recommended it. I had the butternut squash ravioli and my wife had the lobster risotto. The ravioli was rich and flavorful and the sauce was amazing too. My wife really liked her risotto too, I tried... More

We wanted to try something new after an event at Joe Louis Arena downtown. Angelina Italian Bistro more than filled the bill. We were a party of 6 and enjoyed a table in the corner under the blown glass chandelier where we were able to see Grand Circus Park which was a very nice view. We shared an appetizer platter... More

The food was great and the service was even better! The owner went way out of his way to make sure we had an amazing experience. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!
