July 7 Dinner

Two of us dined here for dinner about 7:00 PM. Only a few tables had people dining. This must be a lunch spot as downtown is quiet on evenings. We both had a pasta dish and they were better than average. Not excellent but real good. The bread they brought out as an appetizer was excellent. The... read more

Took my wife on a date there last night; you can see into Comerica park from the front door and the Tigers were playing a home game, so I made a 5:30 reservation. The People Mover dropped us just a few steps from the bistro at the Grand Circus Park station (bonus). We were seated immediately. It's an upscale, noisy... More

Stopped here prior to the Tigers game by accident as the place that we wanted to visit was full. Beer was pretty good, pizza was okay, atmosphere and service was great. Reasonably priced. Would return.

Stopped here before the Tigers game with my family. We weren't in the mood for pub food or stadium food. The menu was nice with a variety of interesting dishes. Several types of pizza were also available. The food was well presented and tasty, the wait staff was pleasant. i would say it was somewhat pricey for what you received.... More

Came with my husband for our anniversary. Food was very good. I ordered the bolognese and my husband had the little neck clam dish. Both were very good and would recommend. The pasta was very fresh.

This restaurant is located within walking distance to all the main attractions Detroit has to offer. The appetizers we tried were the meatballs as well as the scallops which were cooked to perfection. We split one of their pizzas which was delicious. I had lamb ragu with gnocchi which was great and my wife had the seared salmon with mashed... More

I came here because it was close to the Aloft hotel, and it was raining, and I was hungry. It was surprisingly good. The spicy minestrone we reasonably spicy. The pastas are house made, which is great. I had the pappardelle, but they let me switch out the regular meat sauce for the lamb ragu that usually goes on the... More

I thought the food was okay, but nothing to write home about. I could think of many other Italian restaurants that are better, like Mario's for one.
