Food was decent...when it finally arrived. Sat with a view of the kitchen door, and saw no food for any table emerge for nearly 30 minutes at one point. Not really the servers fault, who tried to distract and create an illusion of activity, but I would've appreciated just an honest clarification about what was up and when we all... More

For what we got, the menu was pricey. There is no printed "Kids' Menu", only a "verbal kids' menu" that didn't include the prices. We thought $10 was a lot for a bowl of pasta, which didn't come with drinks--that was extra. Service was very good. We had a restaurant.com certificate. Just make sure that the entire amount is deducted.... More

We initially looked at the Westin as a destination in Detroit, but decided to stay elsewhere. We still wanted to check out the facility so decided to have a late lunch there. It was a Tuesday afternoon, so the place was not busy. The ambiance is very modern in comparison to the classic architectural exterior. The staff were very friendly and... More

Wednesday is half price bottles of wine! What a treat! Great service at bar for good Rhone Sauvignon Blanc at half price (when does that ever happen??) & spinach & artichoke dip with great tortilla chips. Nice ambiance & place was full of smiling staff. All felt great!

The actual restaurant is far more casual than the website infers, so we were a bit overdressed. All in all, the food was above average for this area ( Detroit is not a Culinary Mecca) and the atmosphere was GastroPub-ish. The service was average, prices too. I had the Goat Cheese and Beet salad (very tasty) and The mint Glazed... More

Beautiful decor, smelled good, great service, darn good food, pretty expensive, but worth it. $100 for lunch for 4 with two sides, but it was darn good. I had the deluxe shredded ribeye on toasted hoagie with poached eggs on top- heavenly good! My daughters had the salmon sandwich and grilled cheese and both were excellent- we shared a little.... Tried the flat bread Margharita with my daughter which was tasy for the both of us and the staff was very polite for the most part. Floor manager was visibly upset/angry for the duration of my time there though I suppose everyone has bad days. Hostesses are awesome!!

The appetizer and salad were good. The entree was horrible. I have never had fatty pork tenderloin until today. The Brussel sprouts were a greasy mess. The flatbread was underdone and tasteless. The only great thing was the Mac and cheese!

Had dinner on New Year's Eve. Then moved on to the bar for chat after a great meal. My friend and I had the filet medallions. Originally, the food came out cold---the manager and the server were immediately on it, very apologetic, and brought out fresh plates, properly prepared. So this was just a glitch on a very busy night,... More

Lets start with arrival, there is valet service outside (its next door to the Westin) and is the best way if your driving. Walking into this restaurant, your hit with quality, ambiance, dim lights and a warm welcome from the reception staff with just the wonderful smell of a wood burn grill is wonderful. Being seen to our table by... More
