Large Menu, Great Food

Ate here with a friend. Sandwiches are gourmet and they have a nice selection of craft beer, ciders, and wine. Parking is easy and service was prompt. Nice little place to stop for a quick and delicious sandwich.

What a surprise. Great sandwich shop in CorkTown. Had the corn beef and it was amazing. Tried a Cider for the first time and it was delicious. Staff very friendly. In a old home...lots of character.

Small quaint spot to grab a monster yummy sandwich or salad. Small inside but if you don't mind sharing a table you'll get in. Carry out is always an option if not. The sandwiches are huge and can be shared. Also serve beer and classic pops. Can't say of the half dozen sandwiches I've tried which one is my fav.... More

Great atmosphere. Easy parking. Outstanding quality. Fast and friendly service. I've never had dinner here but lunch (salad and sandwich) is best in Detroit. The quality is equal to Russell St Deli, but the atmosphere is much better at Mudgie's.

We've made it a holiday tradition to come down to Mudgie's with the kids for lunch one Saturday each December. The sandwiches stretch your imagination and always use local food, whenever possible. They've recently expanded so the additional seating is so welcome and the staff is always very nice. Parking feels a little dicey still but hopefully, Detroit will be... More

Ate here on recommendation of a friend. Read reviews and looked at multiple pictures of food posted online. Was excited to eat there. Was VERY disappointed in everything. Four of us ordered 4 different sandwiches and all said "Eh, it's ok". Nothing gourmet or special about it. The sides were absolutely horrible. None of us could eat more than one... More

Greg Mudgie is a great guy who has worked his tail off creating a very homegrown operation. Everything is made in house if possible and the flavor will testify to this. Everything is great here. He recently expanded and now has a bar in the back. One of my favorite places in the D and a great place to take... More

This is such a cute place. Great service, wonderful fresh sandwiches. The coleslaw was tastes, and try the cookies for a finish. My new favorite.

I've been a customer of Mudgie's for the last few years and I have a love-hate relationship with them. I would generally say that the food is pretty good--I've tried about 4-5 different sandwiches and have generally been pleased with them. I will note that they occasionally change things up (for the longest time, the Turkey Trot didn't come with... More

Great spot for lunch! Tucked in Corktown only a few blocks off Michigan Avenue is a great place with a friendly staff and good food. The weather was nice enough for us to enjoy the outdoor seating area and wouldn't have guessed we were sitting in the middle of Detroit. Their patio offers a garden-like atmosphere with an attentive staff.... More
