It was just ok. Nothing particularly special but they have lots of healthy choices. I went during Sunday brunch so they had a limited menu. I'd give this place another chance during the week to give it a fair shake. A plus is the sell alcoholic beverages. The atmosphere is cool and laid back but could use a bit of... More

Very large variety of microbrews. Vast selection of soups, salads and sandwiches. Everything was fresh and very good.

Best sandwiches in town. Had the corned beef and eggplant parm soup. Great place to share a beer and food with a friend and hangout for awhile.

This was my first time eating at this restaurant since it became Mudgie's. I've always loved the location in Detroit's oldest neighborhood, Corktown. Mudgie's is small, popular and fills up quickly. I'm glad I beat the lunch crowd. The menu offers a nice variety of sandwiches. I ordered a Barrett so I could try their corned beef and a bottled... More

The atmosphere is decidedly friendly. We were greeted immediately upon entering one mid-afternoon Saturday recently, and then given a choice of three different tables. Though the decor is simple (plastic table cloth coverings), colors are warm and the place gives off a comfortable vibe. The hard wood floors are a interesting too. We loved the music — electronica, jazz, easy-going... More

Our group of eight got there early and barely beat the crowd. Easy to see why this place does well. Everyone loved their soup, salads, sandwiches, milk shakes, etc. A guy on a bike delivered trays of fresh sprouts we think ended up on our sandwiches! Very cool! We parked right on the street and walked in.

Out of this world food. Not a sandwich on the menu I wouldn't eat. This is not the best place for large groups and anything more than 4 and this is not the best place. Great for business lunches during the week.

The selection of both sandwiches and beer at this place is amazing. Especially the brews. Very friendly waitress, and Greg the owner even stopped by all the tables to check on their well being.

Mudgie's Deli is over on Porter Street. OMG, the best veggie sandwich i've ever had: the IVEY (house made spinach bread, sunflower sprouts, red onion, avocado...all using local products)...so delicious!! Since I don't live nearby, I've had a to recreate it (unsuccessfully) on my own...I can't do it justice...looking forward to going back!! This is a must on your list!... More

Fresh, local, grass-fed, antibiotic free, and delicious. Mudgie's does not disappoint when it comes to your sandwich cravings. Their spinach spread is to die for and I've never had a sandwich that had anything to complain about. This was one of the last places I made it a point to visit and eat at before moving out of state and... More
