Nice little out of the way deli with good local and organic selections. We went primarily because of the gluten free bread option - the sandwich was excellent and the rets of the family enjoyed their selections as well.

I don't like sandwiches much. I don't prepare them for myself, and I will rarely buy them. This place is the exception. Every time, I order something different, and every time, it is exactly what I needed. The restaurant is rather small and rather popular, so expect to wait, but it will be worth it!

Mudgie's is our go-to lunch spot when we are visiting Detroit. I wish we had this place where I live!! The food is fresh, home-style, creative cooking. It offers me delicious and fresh gluten-free options, and they are generous with their portions. We usually leave here stuffed, and with no room for dessert!! Their sandwich combos are creative, interesting, and... More

These sandwiches are amazing. They are filling, layered with toppings that make flavours burst as you eat... always a filling meal. The restaurant is quaint, a little tricky to find on a first visit - but you'll never forget after that! It's so delicious. I've tried the salads, the soups... but when you get a hankering for a good sandwich... More

Enormous menu with reasonable prices. Someone said it's pricey, but it's not. Fresh food, good soups, cute atmosphere. Thanks to places like this that are bringing people into Corktown.

I had a wonderful time here and my food was very good. The menu will take a while to review and is an interesting take on sandwiches, soups, & salads. They have a lot of variety on ciders and brews to choose from. Very small interior and it can be loud when full. If there is a wait, it's worth... More

It was just ok. Nothing particularly special but they have lots of healthy choices. I went during Sunday brunch so they had a limited menu. I'd give this place another chance during the week to give it a fair shake. A plus is the sell alcoholic beverages. The atmosphere is cool and laid back but could use a bit of... More

Best sandwiches in town. Had the corned beef and eggplant parm soup. Great place to share a beer and food with a friend and hangout for awhile.

This was my first time eating at this restaurant since it became Mudgie's. I've always loved the location in Detroit's oldest neighborhood, Corktown. Mudgie's is small, popular and fills up quickly. I'm glad I beat the lunch crowd. The menu offers a nice variety of sandwiches. I ordered a Barrett so I could try their corned beef and a bottled... More
