I had lunch here and the food was excellent. Be sure to make a reservation ahead of time, otherwise you may have a long wait, since this place is very popular among the offerings on the riverfront.

Horrendous. This food is not Italian it taste like it came from the frozen food aisles at Meijer. There isn't an Italian in the whole place so how are you an authentic Italian restaurant?

As someone with four different food allergies, I rarely am able to eat out anymore. I recently was invited to a mini-family reunion by a cousin I hadn't seen in 39 years, so of course, I had to go! On Andiamo's website, I found a copy of their menu, and at the bottom, they list an "Andiamo's Lean" menu with... More

My husband and I dined at Andiamo's to celebrate his birthday with another couple. Overall we had a good dining experience, but not the best. For ambience, the floor plan there always feels a bit cluttered, but not so much so that you have to squeeze between other diners. The river view is beautiful when you can get it. Unfortunately... We went during Restaurant Week and were pleasantly surprised to find out how much food was served. Normally places during this promotion give you an appetizer, entree & dessert. However, we also received a choice of soup or salad, plus a dish of pasta like they nomally serve off the regular menu. We fully expected just three courses, not five.... More

Was taken here by the wife for special ocassion. The place was nothing short of special. When we got there they had a table for us right by the window with the awesome view and a bottle of champagne waiting on ice the table. The service was excellent and the meal were served by courses so there was excellent timing... More

We had a very nice , intimate dinner, We were seated at a booth , which was not requested, but much desired. and we both had an excellant view of the River. This may seem minor, but it makes for great conversation when the evening slows down a little. Also the meal came in courses, which were well timed as... More

For Valentine's Day my wife and I got reservations at Andiamo- Riverfront prior to seeing a play. First of all, avoid our mistake being unfamiliar with the area: drive past the parking garage and approach the restaurant from the river- use the valet parking at the door and you'll save yourself about 10 minutes walking from the parking garage each... We have been to Andiamo Detroit Riverfront several times and each time we go we have a fantastic experience. The food is delicious and the staff are top notch. Make a reservation and relax and enjoy the entire experience over a bottle of wine. If you are there after 8 p.m. or so on the weekend there is a band... More

My sweetheart & I dined at Andiamo Detroit Riverfront on Friday, January 25th. We started with the Frittatine di Granchioalla Andiamo ($17.00) aka Maryland crab cakes, corn relish, sun-dried tomato and remoulade sauce. The crab cakes were delicious, but barely warm. I had the 8 oz filet mignon ($38.00) with the Andiamo Zip Sauce on the side. The filet was... More
