Great Experience

Recently took my mom here for her birthday. Had a great time sitting outside by the water. Only downside is the street noise, but not much you can do about that. I really enjoyed the build your own pasta option on the menu. It ended up being delicious and the homemade pasta made the dish! My... read more

Couldn't find the airport location to review, but it is the same restaurant as others in the Detroit area by the same family. The food is phenomenal! The caprese salad was plentiful, fresh and delicious. As was the arugula salad with pine nuts and proscuitto. Incredible. And by all means, try the gnocchi. To die for. The meatball is dense... After an awesome walk along the Detroit Riverfront, enjoying the view of the Ambassador Bridge and Windsor, Canada, we knew that Andiamo would be the perfect spot for a delicious lunch-- and it WAS!!! We dined outside, had a cocktail (a Tito's Blue Lemonade for me) and a fabulous lunch (mine was a combo of the Mediterranean Salad and Andiamo... More

The meal at Andiamo's was fantastic. The service was impeccable and the food incredible. You will not go away hungry, as the portions are ample and flavorful! Treat yourself to a great Italian dinner when you visit the city of Detroit!

Andiamo tries too hard. They spend most of their energy on presentation. The have a pretty nice place, but the food is just meh. It’s also a bit overpriced and the service was spotty. Very nice waitress, but she was either over-stretched or just scatter-brained. We really couldn’t figure her out. If you’re staying at the Marriott Renaissance, Andiamo is... More

We stopped at the bar for a quick lunch and drink. The shrimp cocktail and crab cakes were excellent as was the service. It's a bit pricey, but so is the location. Would stop here again.

Our waiter was exception. His knowledge of the menu items were very helpful and his recommendations (offered only after he was asked) were spot on.

While the food was good, I wouldn't say it was outstanding. Considering the price it was just okay. I had the lamb chops that I ordered medium rare and they arrived hot but more like medium to medium well. I didn't send them back and the waiter didn't really ask how they were specifically. My wife had a fish dish... More

We tried this place out because it was in the hotel and it was snowing. Food was pretty good, but it was pricey. Not sure it was worth the high price tag.

My broiled salmon was tasty and well-prepared, the sauce on the pasta fresh and very nice. Andiamo was very busy this Saturday evening but we got prompt and accurate service with many smiles and a bit of helpful information we didn't think to ask for. The dining room faces the Detroit River and the shores of Windsor across the way.... More
