In town for business and it was suggested that we try Andiamo's in the Renaissance GM Tower. The restaurant is situated on the ground floor and there is a view of the Detroit River if you're seated in the back dining area. Reservations were made using Open Table. No wait and we were seated right away. Very extensive drink menu.... More

We dined here for Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, this was our first visit to this location. We were placed in the "Winter Garden" which turned out to be the Atrium/Lobby of the Renaissance Center and people were walking by as we sat and talked. It was very uncomfortable and invasive to try to have an intimate conversation in a bright lobby... More

We dined here on Valentine's Day for which they had a special menu. The olive oil that came with the bread was just awful. The calamari were rubbery and I could not taste any crab in the crab cakes. My fish entree really needed seasoning. For the price the meal should have been much better. Service was good though. Would... More

My family and I attended the Andiamo Riverfront Restaurant to celebrate two birthdays. While the meal was for the most part good there were a few small things that were disappointing when looking at the cost of the meal. We started with a sampling of appetizers--all were delicious. We then moved on to caesar salad. My caesar salad had brown... More

I've only been here once, and was blown away when I walked in. It's so beautiful, the whole restaurant and the views are great too. Food and service were both excellent. Not sure if they have the facility for it, but this would be an unbelievable place for a wedding reception.

This restaurant delivers consistently great food and wonderful service. We had dinner there last night and it was excellent. From the less formal bar area which has a lovely buzz to it- to the more formal dining area at the rear this is a lovely venue.

Overall, this was a great experience. My wife and I came for dinner and walked away impressed. I had a steak that came out perfect to my order and my wife had a seafood pasta that was impressive (jumbo shrimp were cooked to perfection). Service was attentive the entire night without being disruptive. The river view to Canada was nice.... More

A classic visit for those new to the Detroit area. While it is a more pricier alternative, you will be welcomed with amazing ambiance, delicious cuisine, great service and a beautiful skyline of Canada along the Detroit river. What makes this place special is that while the food is superb, there is quite a lot to do surrounding the restaurant... More

After a long day of travel and only a few hours of sleep, this was exactly what I needed. Coming from NYC I was a little hesitant about having italian for lunch, after all, I live in NYC and have amazing italian on a regular basis. Andiamo's did not disappoint. I felt like I was right at home at my... More

This Andiamo outpost at the Ren Cen is a staple for business lunches / dinners. I've found Presto next door (still owned by Andiamo) to be a quicker and less expensive alternative for a more casual lunch. Food wise, their pasta dishes are always good. I was disappointed with their Caesar and spinach salads when I've had them
