Prefer for drinks rather than food.

I have always enjoyed the atmosphere there for drinks and have never really been that impressed with the food selections or quality. It has a bit of a throwback bar look and I can just picture the old Ford guys lining up at the bar after a day at the office.

For a bar, it has an OK food menu. Burgers, soups and salads. The burger was OK but the house made chips was too greasy. The ambiance is nice and relaxing.

We really enjoyed this bar. It seems to have recently had a make over, and was very clean and well-maintained. We didn't eat here, we just had cocktails. It was a comfortable, fun place to go after all of our walking around Greenfield Village.

Drove 9 hours from Annapolis to the Henry Ford and landed here for dinner. Very inviting and quiet. Enjoyed the nice wine selection, chips and light sour cream dip, veggies and hot chipotle dip. The perch fish and chips were crisp, delicate; burger was juicy, smoky; flatbread with Mexican flavors was spicy, cool, fresh; and the ground salmon burger was... More

After a very long day of travel just grabbling a bite in the hotel seemed like the way to go. We ended up here (as opposed to the other end of the hallway where there's another more formal restaurant) just to eat, relax some, and catch up. It wasn't especially busy, but service was rather slow. The ten Eyck burger... More

So we heard that this bar had good bourbons for a good price...yes, we're so there. We get there and it's very quiet, but that's OK 'cause more focus on us. We peruse the premium bourbons and settle on Basil Hayden (nice!). My partner orders a Manhattan, so far so good. I order a whiskey sour and ask that the... More

We stayed at the Dearborn Inn and after a day of in the museum, we settled in for some lite fare at the tavern. We received good service which is consistent with the Inn, nice food and a pleasant atmosphere. Everything you would want. Sorry we didn't sample Edison's, the full service restaurant in the same hotel. Oh well, we'll... More

Ate here twice while in Dearborn. Nice atmosphere, delicious food and excellent service. Price and value are good. The second evening I went down to get take-out and they were very helpful and gracious with packaging and food.

After a full day on the road and another full day visiting Greenfield Village, we enjoyed the Tavern's relaxed atmosphere and light eats/drinks at the end of each day. Helpful, friendly staff, too.
