Impressive Selection

Shatila ships their pastries around the country and I have been eating them for years. Finally in Dearborn and decided to check them out. The selection was fantastic and everything I tried was delicious. Definitely worth the visit.

I really liked their cakes and pastries. Nice to place to go if you really like sweet stuff. This place never disappointed me. Baklava is must have here.

The selection of mid-Eastern and French pastries is mind-boggling. It would be helpful if you could hear the waitstaff or get a good explanation of what it all is, but all we were able to do was point to some that looked good. The person who waited on us didn't seem to have a great command of English. Maybe they... More

I like the atmosphere of this place. You can go in and then hang out while you eat. Got the mousse, which was good Next time I'll try the ice cream. Coffee was okay.

I have stopped here several times to take out there baklava for friends in Maryland. I have also had some of their savory and sweet snacks as a breakfast/brunch meal. Good food, good service, clean place to sit.

You have to try this place to believe it. In addition to the traditional Middle Eastern pastries, they have homemade ice cream that is to die for. The lemon is very refreshing! Their French pastries are also delicious. I highly recommend the fondant cake, which is usually only available on the weekends.

The Shatila bakery is always full of customers for a very good reason! You can but pastries here for them to box up for you and take them home, or you can enjoy one with a nice cup of coffee right here.

Shatila is an amazing bakery. I love the baklava that they have, as well as the various french pastries. They also have really good pistachio ice cream. A great place to grab something sweet to go, or to sit with friends for a conversation. The selection is almost overwhelming, and it's tempting to get multiple desserts on one visit. Well... More

EVERY time I'm in the Detroit area I make it a point to stop at Shatila. Usually I walk out with a half tray of baklava, but I've tried many of their other treats, including the ice cream, and love them all. One important tip: When you walk in the door, don't be distracted by all the color and beauty... More
