I live in Dearborn, the city in which Jim's is located. When I saw the number one rating from Trip Advisor I took a trip for an early afternoon dinner at this restaurant I never knew existed. An hour plus later I drove home thinking the rating is not wrong. Owned by the same family for over 40 years, the... More

We really enjoyed our meals at Jim's Place. We had friendly, prompt service. We both intended to order breakfast, but instead enjoyed the Polish combo platter. The meal was amazing and kept us full for the entire day. We enjoyed each item on the platter more than the last, and would suggest Jim's Place to anyone visiting Dearborn. Very much... More

The food was amazing and you cannot go wrong with the either Polish combo platter. We got there just before 3:00 and the staff were awesome especially considering it was not until we left that we realized that they actually closed at 3:00

My mother used to make hand-made pierogies when I was growing up until it got to be too much work for her, and my father always loved his Pennsylvania Kielbasa. Seeing the reviews before I traveled to Dearborn for the first time, made me put this place on one of my "must do" activities before I left. They close at... More

Everything is delicious. Been going here since I was a little girl. The restaurant is run by the most kind-hearted, giving Polish family. My great-uncle is Autistic and would walk up to Jim's Place EVERY day for his coffee and breakfast. We are so lucky to have them take care of him as they did! They treated him as if... More

We were looking for a place to eat after leaving Greenfield Village. This place is well rated and for good reason! Great service and better food. The dill pickle soup was amazing. We would be here every week if it was close to home.

Just a little hidden gem . A place you would like to call home. Family run and very comforting. Nothing special but the food is prepared perfectly. Nothing better than home cooking that does not slide off your plate. Way above my expectations. We just dropped in on a recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed.

What a fantastic find! Stayed in Dearborn for a few days and went here for breakfast both mornings. Owners (so spunky!!) on site and remembered us from the prior morning; even asked if we had fun at the concert the previous night. Just a great atmosphere with conversation with the locals. It was one of those places you immediately felt... More
