Jim's Place is a great polish joint to bring your family to. It's family owned and operated and you feel right at home as soon as you walk in the door. The prices are low, the portions are huge and the service is impeccable. You can't go wrong with the polish combo, kielbasa, stuffed meatballs... read more

Just as the title says the food is so well cooked that it gives a feeling of moms homemade cooked food. With such amazing prices and great food, it's a gift from heaven. Not only the food is great but also the service. Each waitress have their own kind character thats separates one another and all of them are hilarious.... More

After five hours at the Henry Ford Museum we drove 3.5 miles and had a nice filling meal at Jim's Place. We had the Polish Combo. Good prices. Lots of food. Friendly wait staff.

Jim's Place is a throwback to a day gone by. No doubt this restaurant, and the neighborhood, have seen better days; however, if you want an experience, stop in. We were quickly made welcome, but it was clear that the staff knew everyone except us by name. The kielbasa and pierogi were delicious. My wife had pancakes, eggs and bacon-... More

The meals were authentic, large, tasty and reasonably priced. No alcohol. Clean, great wait staff. All in all, a very good experience.

Jim's Place has been in business a long time. It is not a fancy restaurant. They specialize in Polish food but there is a good selection of other food on the menu. There are specials every day of the week. Try the dill pickle soup which is only available on Wednesday and Thursday. It is very busy at lunch time.

This place serves "Real Food"... the kind of recipes that were served in family restaurants 30 or more years ago... not the trendy crap that all of the chain restaurants seem to be changing on their menus every three months. My wife and I both ordered the Polish Combination plate with meatballs. We both had the Navy Bean soup. We... More

Waitress was really nice but food was average to below average. I did like the dill pickle soup though. That was a pleasant surprise.
