If you loved going to Hamtramck for Polish food, try this alternative on Michigan ave. The owners are there and everything is reminiscent of the 1980's. Food is delish and prices are a bargain. Go once and you'll go back.

I found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and chose it because it had a great rating. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised to discover they serve Polish food. Pierogis were delicious, some of the best I've had in any restaurant. The rest of my party enjoyed their food as well. Prices were very reasonable and service great. I would... More

I enjoy Jim's and have been here several times. The Polish combination plates are good eating and have never disappointed me. There's lots of other items on the menu too. Soup has been good here and I look forward to going if it's a scheduled lunch at work or with family/friends. Comfortable booths, tables & chairs, and good service. A... More

Whenever I'm near Dearborn I make it a point to eat here. Great food at fair prices, extremely friendly staff, and a cast of characters from the neighborhood, all in a vintage atmosphere. Places like this are a dying breed. Try the Polish dishes, just as good as Hamtramck without the elevated prices. The breakfast specials are outstanding too. Never... More

Excellent food, excellent atmosphere, old-school restaurant with all the charm of a family diner. Top notch Polish food bottom line!

The best pierogis you will ever taste. My family's been going there since the place was first established and was called Aunt Eva's. It's the definition of a local, neighborhood restaurant.

Had a lunch special which included pierogis, potato pancakes, and stuffed cabbage, and it was all excellent. The restaurant has a "old school" charm to it, and seems like someplace out of the 1960's. The service was fast and friendly, and the prices were more than reasonable. The restaurant is easy to miss as you drive down Michigan Ave., but... More

Had the polish combo with kielbasa, pierogies, and cabbage soup.... BEST EVER! The restaurant is a classic with the same waitstaff for over 20 years! Old school menu with a cool neighborhood vibe. It doesn't get any better than this!

Good polish diner run by a family that treat you like family. Nothing fancy about the place or the menu. Just good food and friendly people that treat you like they've known you forever.
