Rose was the BEST!

We showed up late on a Sunday right before closing time but was welcomed and made to feel at home by our young waitress "Rose"! We sampled a bit of the polish cuisine and were more than pleased. From someone raised on Polish food I gotta give it to them..it was pretty much "just like Mom used to... read more

Everything tasted like a salt lick. Could not eat those canned, mushy peas either. If you have no taste buds or want your legs to cramp up, eat here.

What a great place to stop and eat about 5 minutes from the Henry Ford Museum. They appear only open for breakfast and lunch (at least on the weekend we were there). The staff was very friendly and the food was very good. With 6 of us there for breakfast, we got the chance to sample quite a bit. All... More

We loved our Sunday lunch at this homey spot in Dearborn. The food was excellent and the portions were generous. The service was very good and the atmosphere was folksy and charming in its own way. The prices were extremely reasonable making it a great value. We wanted to meet our son and his girlfriend, who live in Detroit, for... More

My husband, son and I ate here after a trip to the Henry Ford Museum. We were NOT disappointed! It was a trip back in time...decor has apparently not changed in 40 years and that was just fine with us. It was fun to give our son a taste of what the world looked like when we were his age.... More

I convinced 5 of my colleagues that this place received top ratings on Trip for one of the best places to eat in Dearborn, that was a complete and utter lie. Pierogi and the potato pancakes are much better at Sabina's in Melvindale. So disappointed at the review of all of my reviews, made me lose some street cred for... More

A great restaurant with wonderful Polish food! My husband & I decided to try this place after we read the reviews on Trip Advisor and we were glad we did. Not many restaurants around that serve just GOOD food at decent prices. Our waitress was extremely friendly and made you feel like you'd been there a hundred times before! We... More

Great food and service at Jim's. Convenient parking on the side of the restaurant, wait staff very friendly and at tentative, reasonable prices. Food is delicious and is definitely homemade. Had pierogis, kielbasa and navy bean soup. Everything was great. We'll be back!

I live in Dearborn, the city in which Jim's is located. When I saw the number one rating from Trip Advisor I took a trip for an early afternoon dinner at this restaurant I never knew existed. An hour plus later I drove home thinking the rating is not wrong. Owned by the same family for over 40 years, the... More

We really enjoyed our meals at Jim's Place. We had friendly, prompt service. We both intended to order breakfast, but instead enjoyed the Polish combo platter. The meal was amazing and kept us full for the entire day. We enjoyed each item on the platter more than the last, and would suggest Jim's Place to anyone visiting Dearborn. Very much... More
