This was my second time dining here. Husband and I brought my parents after visiting the Henry Ford & Greenfield Village. Arrived at 5:30pm. Table awaiting us. We were early enough to enjoy their happy hour/early dining option for $16.99, which was a choice of several fish (cooked your way) with rice/veggies, served with an appetizer (salad, soup, mussels) and... This place has excellent food, a large wine list, friendly servers and unusual decor. My seven year old daughter is a picky eater but not here. This is one of her favorite places for salmon. Definitely worth the trip.

Big fish is the best seafood restaurant on the planet! Very expensive and worth every cent. Expect a long wait at the bar.. It takes awhile to get to a table. Fear not... It is worth the wait! The buffalo shrimp appetizer and seafood gumbo are extraordinary and every fish dish is cooked to perfection. The waitstaff delivers world class... More

Restaurant is on the periphery road of the Fairlane mall. It is very close to several hotels that also surround the mall. We ate outside on a Wednesday night in August. The weather was perfect (although what isn't in August when you come form Arizona :-)). They have live music on Wednesdays (presumably in the summer only). We sat at... More

To go on a Sunday afternoon right after they open at1pm. I had pan seared whitefish-one ofmy favorite seafood dishes when visiting Michigan. My sister tried an Asian fusion dish. We were both happy with the food and service. Nice selection of wines by the glass.

On a recent trip to Dearborn we decided to visit Chuck Muer's Big Fish expecting a high end dinner. The food was only mediocre the service slow and the cost high for the quality of the dinner. You can do better.

Server was very knowledgeable of the menu and offerings. She made appropriate suggestions. Service was very good. The food was excellent. Members of group had several different entrees and all agreed they were good. The only downside to the experience was the temperature of the restaurant. All agreed that it was freezing, way too cold for a pleasant experience.

Big Fish used to be an excellent choice on the weekends where you could hardly get a table. Not the case now. So sad. I will highlight several dishes in this review with the thought that you might select accordingly. I am not suggesting you give up on the restaurant as there are few choices in Dearborn but I was...
