On a recent trip to Dearborn we decided to visit Chuck Muer's Big Fish expecting a high end dinner. The food was only mediocre the service slow and the cost high for the quality of the dinner. You can do better.

Server was very knowledgeable of the menu and offerings. She made appropriate suggestions. Service was very good. The food was excellent. Members of group had several different entrees and all agreed they were good. The only downside to the experience was the temperature of the restaurant. All agreed that it was freezing, way too cold for a pleasant experience.

Big Fish used to be an excellent choice on the weekends where you could hardly get a table. Not the case now. So sad. I will highlight several dishes in this review with the thought that you might select accordingly. I am not suggesting you give up on the restaurant as there are few choices in Dearborn but I was... Really nice bar to sit, relax and take the edge of the day off with a great martini. My husband was impressed with the bourbon selection. The bar staff was really friendly. We moved to a romantic curved booth for dinner and had a really good meal. I highly recommend the Parmesan Crusted Sole with lemon caper sauce...yummy! Only complaint... More

Wonderful shrimp scampi. They were very accommodating to my kids by letting them share meal and even plating the food on two plates.

Maybe it was the cost or the fact that I didn't care much for the service or that I couldn't get a baked potato. I could add a tossed salad if I paid another small fortune. I simply didn't care for the place.

We come here regularly for business meetings and they provide excellent service and we enjoy the food. However, I've had issues twice with their rewards program...
