Excellent family platters

Took their family platter which was huge and great. They have decent seating space with somewhat limited parking outside. The Kababs were delicious.

If only I had the words to describe what Cedarland means to me. Childhood nostalgia, watching the cars go by on the main street while waiting for my meal, swaying to the rhythms of my chitchatting parents and the lively Arab music playing through the sound system. The food is so, so delicious. The soup is warm and delicious and... More

Cedarland Restaurant has consistently good middle eastern dishes. My new favorite is the oozi sandwich which includes rice, and lamb that has fallen off the bone. I also like to grab a family meal consisting of a whole roast chicken, and a appetizer sampler - which has hummus, baba ganooj and a salad (i really enjoy their fattoush salad). They... More

Everybody told me to go to Cedarland for the best Falafel there is. I had very high excpectations and they were partially met - I liked their hummus a lot, but their Falafel wasn't my favourite. ` Their portion sizes are HUGE, we couldn`t finish even half of it, and took the rest home with us. They also bring you... More

The restaurant was busy! Everyone receives a complimentary fattoush, hummus and pita and lentil soup!! Best hummus and fattoush in town!! The portion sizes are huge so please order wisely. We ordered a combo (2 chicken skewers, 2 beef kabobs and kafta), one chicken burger and one chicken nuggets plate from kids menu. All of this tasted great but was... More

Dearborn is the place when it comes to Middle Eastern food. Although Cedarland might not be the best, but it is also one of the good ones. The lentil soup is tasty and I liked a lot the boneless chicken sticks. Their garlic syrup was also nice. They might have to work a bit on their service.

I have no real prejudices when it comes to food.... Caribbean, Italian, Polish, Middle Eastern, Indian,Chinese, Japanese..... Diner, dive or haute cuisine, street food, its all fair game for me. Dearborn has a large Middle Eastern population, and Middle Eastern restaurants that run the gamut, from High End to Fast Food. Cedarland is somewhere in the middle... its not fancy... More

Our family has been going to Cedarland since the early 1990's and it remains a favorite today. This is a family owned restaurant and we love the food from the grilled meats to the salads. It is great for any size group but especially good for large groups and we recommend one of their very large family platters which allows... More

The lady that took our order was so impatient we felt like we were dealt by a warden at a Russian jail. They give a few items on the house ( soup, bread, etc) so by the time our entree arrived we were almost done. Food was just average. Somehow not a pleasant dining experience. I would just go to... Try the boneless chicken with rice. Also the starter combo. Food is ok, decoration no so good. Staff is great. Ask for suggestion they always find something for you.
