Traditional Italian Restaurant, Excellent Food & Better Service!!!

I don't get to this place nearly as much as I would like to. We went as a family on a Saturday night. Seriously good Italian food served by an attentive wait staff. You can't leave here hungry. it is just not possible. OK, so you have to be able to find it first. It tucked away just a few blocks from the only steel mill in the neighborhood. It reminds me of the neighborhood that my grandma lived in. Everyone was born... More

Loved it. True authentic Italian food. Had multiple appetizers which were yummy. Dinners were large size, got your money's worth.

First time in the Detroit area on business. One of my co-workers found this place on Yelp and we picked it because of the great reviews. Roman Village did not disappoint. All 3 of us enjoyed our meals. Service was also excellent.

Three of us had a late lunch here. It is a very busy restaurant which is a tribute to the quality of the food. Meals come with soup or salad, a side of pasta with either meat or marinara sauce, and homemade bread. The salads are large and fresh and the bread is fresh and tasty. Try the chicken parmeson.

A friend went here a few weeks ago and told me what great meal he had after golf. I invited him and his wife out to for dinner as my wife loves Italian food. They did not disappoint. The gnocchi Rita was delicious. The Pasta Fagioli soup was excellent and the bread WOW. Very reasonable prices and excellent service. I... More

This is our go to place whenever we want a great meal and reasonable prices. We were celebrating a family birthday and there were 7 of us. We all enjoyed our meals and the service was great.

This is a great Italian place to eat. Classic decor, clean, great service, and reasonably priced. You know its fresh pasta when you see 'mama' working the machine. I have had the calzones and lasagna, both were wonderful. Any of their soups and salads are good too!

This was the best Italian pasta we have had in a long time. It wasn't fancy or pretentious. It was just terrific homemade pasta...one dish with pesto and one dish with bacon and mushrooms. The second pasta was half price! We also shared a large plain pizza which also tasted delicious, some good red wine and some fresh salad. The... More

Italian Food at its finest. What can be said when you start the meal with bread that knocks your socks off. The soup excellant. All the pastas are fresh made, you can do no wrong at this place. A perfect place with a cozy atmosphere .
