Bread and Hummus are Great

The hummus and warm bread are great. Menu selections are good. Service can be slow and is not particularly friendly; however, the food is good and the atmosphere pleasant, although try to sit as far away from the adjacent smoking bar as possible as the smell sometimes drifts in.

I love sitting outside in the summer. Chicken shawarma tabbouli for me and chicken markouk sandwich for him. Hummus here is phenomenal! It's always so hard to choose what to eat because everything is just so good.

I am always over the moon about Lapita. I have eaten here many many times over the years. Each treated with respect and amazing food. I have even drove up here just for the food. The chicken shwarma, with sauce. Drool.

In visiting Dearborn, it is interesting to find the vast Middle Eastern population. You see burkas at the malls and bearded men who seem to be several thousand miles displaced. That is one of the interesting themes of America. E Pluribus Unum. When you walk into "La Pita," you quickly get that someone converted a building into a middle eastern... More

This restaurant is fantastic. High quality fresh foods at a reasonable price. The best bread in town. My personal favorite is the medium Greek salad which is filling as a full lunch for $6. Best deal around.

I've enjoyed Arabic food in the Middle East and this was on par with what I've had there. We started with some apps, including Tabbouli, Grape Leaves with lamb, Hommos, and Baba Ghanoush and Falafel. All were excellent, but the falafel was superb. We split the La Pita Mixed Grill, which included Chicken Kabob, Lamb Kafta and Shish Kabob. My... More

Great Lebanese and Mediterranean food! Fresh baked bread makes this one of my favorites here. Always yummy hummus! Ask for their specialty drink, carrot juice.

I will be thinking about the hummus every time I have it somewhere else- as I'm not sure another establishment can match the quality of this dish. Fresh warm pita added to the delight of this starter. Salad and beef shawarma sandwich were fresh and flavorful. Full bar items available. Friendly and efficient wait staff. We felt welcome.

This is a Middle Eastern Restaurant. The menu has assortment of Wrap Sandwiches, Kebab and Salads. I have been to that Restaurant several times. I always order the Lunch Portion Meals.

Food was just average, nothing to write home about. Servings were of good size. My dish came with an abundance of hummus. The service was great. Our server was polite, fast and helpful. While I may not run back for the food, the service made the experience nicer.
