Authentic Middle Eastern

This is without any hesitation the real thing. Arab music playing in the background. All the typical dishes of the Middle East. The hummus, which was tahini rich and creamy was one of the better ones I ever had. The fattoush crispy and fresh. The chicken shawarma was moist, succulent and tasty. The... read more

Came for lunch with work colleagues. Found the food to be good - good flavor, good portion sizes for the price. Atmosphere is definitely lacking - it's not bad, it could just be any old restaurant. Service was average - not bad, but not great.

Stopped here during a family road trip. We tried the family platter here and had mixed feelings about the different items. The Shish Tawouk and the kafta were probably the best. The others were okay. Had better shawerma at one of the other restaurants not too far from there. See my other review.

This restaurant is our favorite now for Arabic food! Service is fast and the food is great! Servings are generous. Manager comes around to make sure everything is right.

I first ordered a small Lebanese salad, but it didn't look discernibly larger than my colleagues "Small" Lebanese salad. I requested the large, since I wanted more if I was going to be paying for the salad. The dressing was light and tasty, not as bitter, since it didn't have the sumac. The baba was ok, had a decent flavor,... More

The food was so so delicious and perfect. However, I really had almost bad experience with that restaurant. My total bill was $ 20.62. I paid with my credit card and did not put any tip. After I left home, I opened my bank account and found that the restaurant charged me an extra $5! I contacted the manager. He... More

We get carry out from Al Ameer several times a year and are never disappointed. This time around we got our usual ---the Al Ameer platter. For around $27 you get a lamb kabob, a chicken kabob, kafka, 2 fried kibby, 2 falafel, 2 grape leaves, a good size portion of chicken schwarma, same size portion of lamb schwarma, hummus,... More
