We ate lunch here before going to visit the Arab American museum. Oh my gosh, the food was outstanding! Best hummus I've ever had. I ordered arayes and Tim and beef shish kebob. My first time trying arayes; it's delicious. Our server was friendly and courteous. Hummus is so good we ordered some to take home. We will definitely be... More

I was lucky enough to make it back from Detroit before this restaurant closed. It was easy enough since they stay open until 11:00 pm every night. I had a good hot meal with humus and soup. There are a number of outstanding Arabic restaurants and bakeries in this area. I will always feel special about this one because they... More

We have eaten here several times to use up a gift card. Fatoush, Chicken Scwarma, Lentel soup are all very good. The servers are all different. Sometimes fast, sometimes slow. Usually pleasant. The management always asks how things are going. La Shish is a little bit better. Parking is horrible.

This restaurant always served some of the best middle eastern food anywhere at the most reasonable prices. The only issue was the restaurant was getting somewhat shabby. This has all changed as the restaurant has undergone a major renovation. It is now more open with new tables and booths. The food remains excellent. We cannot wait till we visit again... More

I write this review as I am sitting in Florida craving Al Ameer's delicious cuisine. I visited the restaurant for the first time a month ago while visiting family in Dearborn. I was instantly in love with this restaurant. We ordered a lot from hummus, falafel, favabean, tabouli, kibinieh, and family platters of shawerma, kabobs and kofta meats. Everything was... More

Wow! Had a wonderful Family Dinner with everyone. The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. One of the best Middle Eastern Restaurants I have been to.

This is the best tasting Arabic food I have had in a while. We enjoyed the grape leaves, taboulleh, hummus, lamb, chicken, beef , falafel and rice. They serve delicious fruit drinks. It was very busy but the service was good and the food memorable.

The food is very good, especially the Humus (as good or better than most) and Chicken Schwarma. Bread decent and the Lentil soup average. One person ordered a small salad as their entree and it was nothing more then a side salad size - not enough for a meal. The place is not as clean as I would like. Overall... More
