I've visited this restaurant a few times in the past, but haven't been for a couple of years, so when hubby and I found ourselves nearby at lunchtime we thought we'd enjoy a nice (if late) lunch and a glass of wine. As I have a food allergy (onion) I asked the waiter if he could give me some suggestions... More

My personal favourite Indian restaurant in Sydney, I can always choose items on the menu for even the pickiest of palate. Decent service until it gets full then you need to flag people down, always busy, been there for years, food excellent, more expensive than many Indian restaurants but this is not a normal Indian restaurant - try it.

The food was great but I found it a bit pricey considering the area. Our entree of fried spinach leaf was good but drenched in sauce and it costs $18. Service was fine and the place was full so it was a nice atmosphere. For a simple dinner for two cost us $100.

The food here is delicious. We've been dining here for close to 20 years and it never fails to impress with dishes that you simply won't find at other Indian restaurants. For starters try the crab urundai, the chatpata squid and the hariyali chops. The dosai are good (but there are better versions in Sydney - e.g. Malabar & Nilgiri... More

This is the second time I have been to this restaurant. This time I took my husband who loves food, but he is very fussy. He loved it and was still talking about it this morning "best Indian food I have eaten". The food was delicious, the service fast and friendly. Will definately be back.

The food here is delicious and authentic served in fine dining surroundings. Service was a little slow which was surprising as we were the only ones there for the first 30 minutes. Plenty of menu choices. Prices are much higher than you'd expect for Indian food and the servings were quite small. Presentation and taste was good though and we... More

One of the best places you can visit if you want to eat authentic Indian food in the inner west suburbs. I go there quite often and the staff there are great, the interior is very nice and there is ample seating in the restaurant upstairs and downstairs and I prefer to sit upstairs most of the time. The entrees... More

Visited this restaurant multiple times and never get bored of it. Although the number of vegetarian dishes are less, you can never lose the taste for it. The experience was fantastic and despite the relatively expensive nature, it is well worth it. Got what we paid for, and left the restaurant with a smile.

Went there recently for a business lunch with work colleagues. Very presentable restaurant and service. The only issue I had was inexperienced waitressing as they were 8 of us but she only provide us 1 bottle of sparkling water to share and have to keep getting her back to replenish. Food is good. Spice level is just right - there... More

I try and eat here each month or so, dined on Sunday night, they were obviously clearing after a large function upstairs, the service was poor, the usual waiters were not working. The food is devine, not overly filling, tasty and hot. Its BYO, so take advantage of that. Tables are very small.
