NO Onions!!

Went for dinner on Saturday night. Pizza was thin, crispy, excellent sauce and cheese! We ordered onions and were told "NO ONIONS". Huh? Why? This place refuses to put onions on their pizza! Yep, that's crazy. We could get other items but no onions! How disappointed we were. Waitress was not... read more

. The Fricanos have taken an old business and reperposed it as a pizza restaurant. Artifacts and pictures of their native country. including an antique wine press and casks are displayed around the dinning room. The pizza is more like what you would find served in Italy than the common American pizza. While pizza is the main attraction there are... More

We stopped here because we saw their sign advertising live bluegrass music on Thursday evenings through November. Good: loved the thin crust pizza. Prices were very good ($10 for the pizza, $1 for a Diet Coke, no charge for the refill). Our server was very pleasant, albeit overworked, and thebluegrass band was very enjoyable. Bad: very noisy, tables were way... More

Just went there for the first time and I thought the pizza was very good, but maybe not as great as others had me believe. As a family, we tried three different kinds and the pepperoni turned out to be the best. Staff was friendly and service was pretty quick. We'll be back for more.

Only great thin crust pizza place around! (That I know of) My family and I have been coming here for years! Still great! Staff is friendly and the food is awesome, especially the peanut butter cookies!

The pizza was good, not the best I have ever had, but good. The cannoli was average. The staff was horrible. No delivery either. When I placed the order the person who answered the phone tried to take the order, but was so incompetent they had to hand the phone to someone else. When I went to pick up the... More

Great pizza just like the original place in Grand Haven, MI. Busy place but the orders come out quickly. If you enjoy a very thin crust pizza then this is the place to go. Not as real fancy place but family atmosphere for sure. Does serve beer and booze.

You either like Fricano's pizza, or you don't. The vast majority of people do, voting Fricano's the #1 pizza in West Michigan in 2013. Many of us had our first Fricano's experience in high school, standing in line waiting to get into the tavern in Grand Haven. 50 years and hundreds of pizzas later, we still need a monthly fix,... Atmosphere is pretty basic: Older 70s style cafeteria restaurant converted to Pizza place. Excellent pizza. Very thin crispy crust with lots of herbs and seasoning on top. A lot more than just sauce, cheese and toppings.

I cannot say enough about the staff here. They were super attentive, and made our visit pretty enjoyable. After that, there isn't a lot more to boast about. I like the pizza here, but i do think it is a little costly for what you get. It is ten bucks for a thin crust pizza, which feeds one, and toppings... More
