A nice small place

So far we have eaten there twice and both times it was delicious (got pizza both times). Its a small place(kind of like what you might see in a movie). Never had to wait for a seat, but both times they were busy. Will probably be back again.

We stayed nearby at a vacation rental for one week. DiMaggio's is the ONLY place on this stretch of highway! We all went out on the first night of the rental as we didn't have any food in the frig. This place came highly recommended. If this is the best pizza, forget it! Go to Silver Beach in St. Joe's... More

We went there during dinner hours and they were a little busy, but they waited on us promptly....The smell in the restaurant made my mouth water...It was like the old oven pizza......it was really good....enjoyable experience.....

Family owned joint that's been there for over 50 years. Locals and summer residents pack the place. Cheap drinks while you wait for your food.

When our group of 13 arrived at this classic roadside tavern for dinner, the lady behind the bar quickly pushed 5 tables together. Aiming to please, the waitress suggested budget-friendly pitchers of soda and carafes of wine. The pizza was outstanding, featuring a crispy thin crust topped by delicious cheese and a variety of classic toppings. Service was good. Prices... More

DiMaggio's was at one time one of the best pizza places in the area. So good we have given it several second chances, and its just not what it use to be. The crust is chewy, sausage and peppers taste under cooked, bland really. The service has gone way down hill and it's expensive in pizza terms. I'm sure we'll... More

Great pizza and great service. Pizza had real italian sausage and fresh ingredients on a crisp thin crust. Everything looked good on the menu and the prices were great. Relaxing old fashioned italian restaurant atmosphere! Worth the drive anyday.

Pasta is average does not come with salad. I'm a local so have knowledge of this restaurant. Pricey but pizza is different and good.

I travel extensively for work and have tried many pizza joints from Green Bay-Chicago-St. Louis-Tennessee-Carolina's-Pittsburgh-Detroit and have NOT found not a single pie better than DiMaggio's. Trust me when I say this; "I know pizza' and host 20-40 person parties for my wood fired pizza's at home, and as hard as is it to admit, my pies don't come close... More

We love the pizza! During the summer it is standing room only on the weekends. They use an old family recipe for their sauce. Recently celebrated 2 birthdays there with 12 close friends. A great night to sit & visit with no one pushing us out the door. Yum!
