Nice but pricy

This is a very nice place with white linens and all but it's not really my cup of tea. The food is quite good as well but it is priced higher than what I would expect. Before dinner drinks average $13-$14 dollars. Many entrees are priced at $30 and higher. The ambience and food are good and if... read more

Met friends for dinner. We hadn't seen them in 6 months. We made a reservation for a table in the bar area. It was LOUD and HOT. I ordered the Veal Marsala - tasted nothing like it should have. Salty, not served HOT and was not good at all. My husband ordered the Shrimp Cocktail and said the shrimp (only... More

Ate there last night and the food wasn't bad by any means. That issue was that the waiter made errors on our credit card transactions and over charged our account by $300+. The waiter made no mention of the errors and we found out by reviewing our bank account. My wife called and spoke to the manager who offered no... More

Stopped in before a concert at DTE. We live in Waterford and this was a really convient place to stop by to eat before the show. We arrived and was seated without a wait on the patio. It was a very nice atmosphere with live entertainment. The entertainment was a little loud but we asked to turn it down and... More

Lunch with a friend. Ordered the rolatini. They were dry. Not an authentic recipe for sure. Tasted liked they had come from a freezer box. When this restaurant first reopened, things were great; good crusty bread, colavita olive oil on the table, chianti on the wine list..... no longer. Many things are GONE from the menu, colavita no longer on... More

I would definitely not return to this particular Andiamo's. The bar area is pleasant enough, but there are a lot of other places in the area to compete for your dollar. The food on the Happy Hour menu sounds appealing, but unfortunately, did not materialize on the plate. The staff is very helpful, but that does not make it a... More

Much better when it was Mesquite Creek. It is a nice enough structure, however the general feel of the establishment is now a hodgepodge design and mediocre food. Many of the most admired staff left for other establishments when the name change took place from Mesquite Creek to Andiamo's.

Had been looking forward to checking out this new spot after it changed ownership. What a delightful surprise! We arrived before they opened but they were so gracious about letting us have a late lunch in the bar. The wedding soup, salmon salad, lasagne, and calzone were perfectly prepared and presented. Service was great. We highly recommend and will definitely... More
