Enjoyed my lunch... But especially enjoyed the Buttermilk pie. Who knew.... It was really light and creamy. Cute gift shop. More trips to Clare equal more visits to the Mulberry Cafe and more shopping at Jerrick House.

I go to the Mulberry Cafe all the time for lunch! They have new specials everyday so there's always something new to try. Their food is fresh and very high quality. Although I haven't found anything I don't like yet, these are my top recommendations: Razzmatazz Chicken Panini, Southwest Salad, Biscuits and Gravy, Vanilla Chai Tea, Vanilla Cherry Pie. If... More

What a wonderful surprise and experience. Out on a furniture shopping trip with mom, sis and aunt and asked a local where's a good spot for lunch. This place was recommended. A cozy establishment with nifty decor. All the dinnerware is mismatched allowing you to choose which setting at the table is your favorite. Three of us had spinach quiche... More

I found this restaurant on TA (thanks!) and completely agree with the reviews. It's a breakfast and lunch place, and we ate lunch. The chicken noodle soup was one of the best I've ever had... homemade flavor and real dumplings... yum! Sandwiches were made on fresh bread. Excellent reubens. The buttermilk pie tasted like creme brule... simply superb. Plus the... More

This is a great place to meet for lunch! The food is homemade and they offer a variety of lunch items that are not found in other restaurants in the area. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food is delicious!

Went in to just LOOK around. Came out later after having spent a few dollars. What a great assortment of items and there was a sale. Everyone loves a sale. Will be back for sure.

Stopped here for lunch because of the reviews on this site. My husband got the Salmon BLT & really enjoyed it-something a little different is always nice & hard to find. I also enjoyed my lunch. The gift shop attached is a very fine one & I did some shopping. We would go here again if in the area.

Clare is a great place to stop on the way "Up North." The Mulberry Cafe offers a unique place for lunch (and, thankfully, not the usual "fast food" fare). The Herrick House is one block east of the main drag in town. Sitting outside on the porch, we had lunch: broccoli quiche, with a yummy scone, and a salmon BLT... More

Stopped there for a quick lunch and was thrilled to not only have a very delicious meal (quiche for me, Salmon BLT for husband) - but a refreshing stop from the quick pace of the highway. What a delightful little shop - yes, you can eat outdoors, but it was hot, so we chose inside. Very quaint and very good!

We just had lunch at this restaurant on a lazy Saturday afternoon. We choose to sit outside on their patio, where a group of young adults were performing live music. The weather was idyllic and the music mesmerizing - just wonderful. Our server was efficient, friendly and very accommodating. The food was fantastic, fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend...
