Good food, friendly waitress, clean restaurant, large food menu, not too noisy (lunch). Waitress was very helpful in what to do/see in town.

We had an excellent meal! My husband ordered the frog legs and said there were wonderful. I had one of the daily specials - Maui Reuben and it was delicious!! Our waitress, Alex, was friendly and very attentive. We have been looking for a pub like this in our area but will definitely stop at Cleary's when we are in... More

Cleary's has one of the best bacon cheeseburgers I've ever had! The waitress I had was very friendly and efficient. Great restaurant!

while visiting family in Chelsea we decided to shop and eat downtown. we chose Cleary's on the advice of a relative who has eaten there many times in the past. Service was slow, we asked for a pitcher of water and glasses, there were 6 of us, we were given 5 glasses. two of us received the wrong food, 2... More

Went here one evening with family. Most people had hamburgers and everyone seemed to enjoy them. I asked for a salad and they only had a salad mix that included iceberg lettuce, the least nutritious lettuce available and I don't eat it. So I had a hamburger instead, which was fine.

Four of us ate here and liked our meals. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere is like a typical Irish pub with wood floors and rustic ambiance. It is a nice alternative to some other restaurants close by that are more expensive.

As soon as you walk in you can tell this is a real 'bar'--fairly narrow, sit where you want, a few booths near the front, a dozen seats at the bar, and a number of tables--open since 1991 it has a more classic feel with the tin ceiling but still modern touches like TV's with the baseball game on--you almost... Well when ever we go to the Purple Rose, every other time we have to go to the Common Grill, slow, varying service, and just noisy, the other times I get my wish and this is where I go, variety, good service, food good but not fancy. OK so I am a bit simpler then the other half.. One downside,... More

I wish I didn't have to give one star on here. The staff was unpleasant, appeared like they were on drugs, and when I asked for a beer, they said they had none and were closing. It was 11:15pm! Not to dismiss the fact that the staff was clearly all sitting at a table drinking shots and chugging beer in... More

A few of us ate lunch here ... burgers and fries, although I have eaten here before and was equally happy last time. The burgers are just outstanding, as are the potato skins. Nice thick burgers, excellent choice of toppings, all in a nice pub setting with good service. Not sure I would go here for a fancy meal, but... More
