We enjoyed a peaceful delicious meal at JJ Jamokes. The ambience and the lovely views of nature while dining made the drive worthwhile.

J J Jamokes is a nice restaurant with a beautiful location. The luncheon menu is a bit small, but what we had was very good. We tried the potato soup and ham on swirled rye sandwich, BBQ pork with fries and a bean stew. All were very good. The desserts all looked good, and we tried the lemon cake, which... More

Just S. of Caro, MI, this restaurant served one of the best brunches we've ever had. Several varieties of quiche and German-style pancakes are their specialty. We heard from the locals that it is also good for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The back-yard view is outstanding - no wonder its used for weddings. If you're in the Caro area, JJ... More

We had dinner with several friends, the meal was good we had their special 2 for 20 not a lot of variety but the fried mushrooms were good, the ribs were only fair they were tough, we also had the onion soup which was very good! The cornbread fritters were tasty but over cooked. It was a nice experience at... More

This restaurant is about an hour's drive from home. We last visited on Mother's day, with some of our kids and grandkids. We have had breakfast, lunch, and dinner on our many visits, and have always been pleased with both the service and the food. Their Sunday brunch is unusual in that it is not a buffet, but items can... More

If you are looking for a great meal without going to the city then this is the place to go. Little pricy but by far worth it.

We go here for lunch. The food is always great. The service is slow every now and then. The food is worth the wait. Good food at a good price.

Watching the deer, wild turkeys, humming birds and song birds is always a part of the JJ's experience. We dine here often and are never disappointed by the view. The recent update of the decor is nice and there are a few new choices on the menu. There is a nice range of options on the menu from more economical... More

There is a reason you think of the word "joke" when you see this restaurant's name. That's because this restaurant IS a joke. The food is bland, tasteless and boring. The service is terrible. The waitress gave my husband her phone number right in front of me while taking out drink order! The decor is a pathetically hilarious attempt on... More

The scenery was beautiful and the food was OK when we finally got it. Tables who can in after us had food long before we got ours. Our waitress avoided us and messed up orders and the checks. We spoke to the person in charge about our service, he said it was the chef's fault for not having enough people... More
