We had been to this restaurant and food is not tasty.. Most of the items are oily..the hotel location is good but the building seems to be very dirty/old and is not that great..

Ashoka is one of our favorite restaurants for Indian Food. Everything we have ever ordered has been fresh with much flavor. My stomach has been touchy lately so I need to stay away from too spicy food. So I ordered the RAVA DOSA (thin crisp bread wrapped with potatoes and onions inside.) I also got the garlic Naan which is... More

Please don't eat here... You can just drive little bit futher towards Canton and you can find great and much better restaurants right on Ford Road...

Although we enjoyed the food here, we will not go back. I am not sure why the service was so poor, as there seemed to be plenty of staff roaming around. However, they just ignored our table of ten. They never came of their own accord to fill water. After being there two hours, we still did not know who... More

I ordered full chicked tandoori and a chicken currry dish for take out. Menu mentioned full chicken tandoori order gets 8 pieces but I found only 6. And I was charged full money for the dish. It is fraud! The chicken curry had rotten water chestnuts in it. Had to throw the dish. Very unsatified!

I frequently go to the restaurant and my favorite dish is chicken biryani. The restaurant is based more on North-Indian Style as i have seen few of my south-indian friends complaining about the style in which the biryani and other dishes are made. Overall the food is excellent, but the prices are little bit on the higher side. 4 stars... More

Well, if you like indian food, this is the place to go! Try the lunch Buffet from i think 12:00 to 2:00 and be sure to get butter chicken or if you are vegetarian, the Dosas are good

We went at lunch and had the buffet. It was very reasonably priced (under $10 a person) and the selection was incredible. They had a range of dishes from mild (tandoor chicken, rices, salads) to very spicy (lamb meatballs, several curries). The rice pudding was the perfect soothing dessert after all the spices, but try the carrot halwa. It was... More

This is by far the most pathetic food i have tried in the US. The food was stone cold and non courteous manager. We were a group of 8 people with family and friends and we felt like Ashoka is giving away their left over food for us.. when some trays were empty, they dont even bother to refill even... More

Had lunch here cause I love Indian food and eat it a lot when I travel. It was a bit bland and the lunch buffet seemed sparse and picked over. Weekends may be better due to volume but this place is not worth the return trip to find out. Skip it.
