Description: This is a great family restuarant! We have visited it about 4 times and each time the food is wonderful and the prices are so reasonable. Would love to see it listed in Tripadvisor! If it makes it in, I would definately submit a review! By the way, your site is AWESOME and I use it all the time! Sincerely, Anita Struck (puhnkee@sbcglobal.net)

I love the decor and feel of the restaurant. Everything is really clean and the service was great. I ordered the Fish dinner and I was left unimpressed. The fish was tough and hard to eat, the side of mashed potatoes was great however. Overall it was a good experience and I would definitely come back, I would just recommend... More

Qualifier...I have never tried to eat here on a weekend in the summer when this area is swarmed by tourist. It is like 300 yards from the State Park between the lakes so it probably is a mad house in the summer. We own property just south of Lake Mitchell. We primarily are up there hunting in the fall, after... More

Took me a bit to figure out that the main feature is hot dogs, here (am a little slow about these things at times). We had driven past several times and didn't know what to make of the outside decor, looking like a dog house, with human feet sticking out. Once we we finally went in and saw the menu,... More

This place is very small and was very packed on a Sunday. The food was good with big portions. The downside was that it was so busy, the attentiveness of the staff was slim because they had so much going on. There also was a party of 30 that was trying to get seated, so any party that walked in... More

After hiking we went there for a late lunch. The service was good, the food came out promptly, maybe because they were not busy. We each had the BLT, which is hard to mess up, and I was fine. The best part was the homemade potato chips that came with it. The waitress brought us each another soft drink when... More

A group of 8 of us went here for breakfast on a Friday morning. Service was fairly quick but when they brought out the food, they missed two if our meals (mine and my husbands). 10-15 minutes later ours showed up when everyone else was finishing up. I loved the dawg house omelet. My husband ordered the dawg chow which... More

The waitstaff were great---food was delish....just took a while to get to us. But, it is definitely a fun atmosphere and worth a stop!

We have been to Da Dawg House a number of times. Food is good, service is a bit slow but maybe because we are always in a group of 6 to 12 peeps. When food does arrive there has never been a mistake... always comes as ordered. This is a decent food place with good times... order Dawg Chow, comes... More

Stopped by the Dawg House this past Monday around 7:45 pm and was greeted by friendly staff. Interior motiff is clean, bright with displays of traditional northern MI items. There is fresh baked goods and enough items on the menu to satisfy most hunger pains. I ordered the stuffed pork chops and was not disappointed. Enough food for me that... More
