We went to three wineries during our visit - Round Barn (best wine), Gravity (most fun/interesting atmosphere) and Tabor Hill. Tabor Hill seemed stuffy and old-fashioned. It's a stereotype. The tasting area is really claustrophobic. You're bellied up to the bar and racks of wine are sitting precariously just a couple feet behind you. Of the wines we tasted, none... More

We were celebrating our 22nd Wedding Anniversary with a trip to some Southwestern Michigan Wineries. Tabor Hill was our third of five we visited. We were able to purchse our wine tasting for $9/ea immediately. We were directed to the wine tasting room which overlooked the vineyard. It was very busy in the wine tasting room and we waited several... More

I won't belabor the point. The atmosphere is neat and the food is good. The table service is very slow. The real point, however, is that the hostesses and whoever is answering the phone must own the place because the treatment I have been given on multiple occasions is somewhere between unbelievable and simply rude. I will not be going... More

I love Tabor Hill! The wine tasting is wonderful, they actually educate you on the wines. The tour is very interesting. The restaurant is fabulous! I love to buy their wines at home too...Demi Sec-Classic and Special Select! The Norman Love Confections are to die for!

We have been going to Tabor Hill for at least six years, have recommended to several people. NOW I am really discussed with Tabor Hill. Go on their web site and they tell you they are not open Monday and Tuesday, they forgot to mention Wednesday and Thursday, so we drive from South Bend to Tabor Hill for lunch on... More

My friend and I decided to have our first Valentines Day dated at the winery. We made reservations and came for a late lunch early diner. We chose the menu specials for Valentines day. We cannot say how please we were with the services and the taste and the presentation of the food was all Perfection! The bananna cheese cake... More

I don’t understand all these Excellent reviews. We made a special trip to St. Joseph Michigan to celebrate a Valentine’s Day birthday, and decided to dine at Tabor Hill. It took us about half an hour from our hotel to get to the winery. We were so looking forward to our dinner. We checked in for our reservation and were... More

Not many wineries with restaurants so this one took the cake. Very nice service at the tasting by Tom and by our server in the restaurant too.

Tabor Hill Winery is located on a hill in the middle of vineyards, and the view is breathtaking. Food, wine, service are all perfection. The dining atmosphere is a tad loud. Tabor Hill is a great place to visit any time of year, but especially during warmer weather when you can linger on the deck.
