Find urban dining in a rural atmosphere

The food and drinks here are a delight to find in a small town atmosphere. Try the ribs or the salmon. Taste treats!

Went here with my Dad for Easter dinner. The food was ok, don't think I'll go back again because its not my taste but they are always busy and are right next to the river. Looks like they have a nice selection of drinks if that's your thing.

The couple with us had Sirloin and Walleye. My wife had White Fish and I had the Walleye also. It was just okay. We all agreed we had better for the price. The wait staff was very good.

Our waitress was quite unpleasant...she obviously should have been employed in a different position because it was apparent she did not like her work. My wife had chicken which was rubbery tough,,,her fries, however, were good. I had shrimp and grits...so so...maybe a c. Restaurant itself was charming.

This restaurant tucked away in Buchanan Mi never fails to please. From their craft beer menu to the smoked ribs, chicken, salmon and burgers this is by far the best eatery in the area. The staff is always attentive. Reservations are recommended because they're always busy. Don't miss this little Jewell in this little town. You won't be sorry.

We stumbled on Buchanan during their summer festival. Nice small town. Locals recommended Wheatberry. Arrived late so some items were sold out but we thoroughly enjoyed the smoked ribs, chicken, shrimp, and pulled pork. Nice choice of Michigan beers and wines. We sat on the porch. Great play list.

I loved the atmosphere and the location. The BBQ is awesome and so is the cornbread. Full bar and great drink selections. Definitely a must visit.

Had early dinner while RV camping nearby. Great food. Pulled pork and beef, Really thick smoked pork chop. Smoked on premises and very tasty. Ate on patio, service was great and food arrived hot and promptly. No problem with sub of veg for potato. Quick seating, although early during 4th of July and motocross weekend. Easily recommend to others.

Food was ok. We were hungry so we needed to eat. We didn't walk out thinking "OH boy that was the greatest place!" Don't know that we would go back. But it was on a holiday weekend so that might have been the difference
