Buon Gusto offers very good, home cooked style Italian food in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. All of the sauces are made in the kitchen and the owners are frequently mingling with customers. The butternut squash and lobster ravioli are favorites! They offer good meat and fish dishes as well, the veal marsala is also a favorite. If you are... More

Love the bruschetta. So fresh it melts in your mouth. Get the lobster raviolli with the blush sauce. Yum.

Our family ate here in February of 2014. My husband ordered lobster ravioli which tasted delicious. I ordered veal marsala and the veal melted in my mouth. Our daughter ordered scallops wrapped in bacon. I am not fond of scallops but the scallops wrapped in bacon were delicious. We ordered a bottle of a red italian wine from Tuscany which... More

This restaurant is a definite go to for wonderful, delicious food. Everything is fresh and homemade. I've been here many times and everything I've ordered from the appetizers through dessert are tasty. The owners make you feel like family and you want to visit again and again.

Second time here for lunch, enjoyed the butternut squash ravioli and chicken piccata, fresh and delicious! Ended our lovely lunch with incredibly tasty by the cup coffee with a light and fluffy limoncello cake and chocolate mousse torte. Will definitely return to give dinner a try

Food was okay but more USA Italian than Italian Italian but of course you say we are in Brighton Michigan. Everyone was very pleasant and the restaurant is nice and homey but I would say the food was rather average. Would I go back ? Yes --Would I check out some other restaurant first ? yes

I'll be kind and keep this review short. Service was lackluster and the food was barely edible. We tried this place once for lunch and despite the restaurant being almost empty, the servers didn't seem very interested. Once was enough.

Small and quaint, with nice decor. Prefaced by a fabulous homemade potato-leek soup, the butternut squash ravioli was fabulous along with what I would call an Italian Burrito - large rolled homemade pasta filled with beef, spinach, italian herbs topped off with meat sauce. Both dishes were on the daily specials list. Everything was very authentic and very tasty. Having... More

Would recommend to anyone desiring an authentic Italian meal. Should go in and expect to have a well prepared meal. Fun interior reminiscent of old world Italy. Owners are hard working and genuine.

A group of friends met for lunch recently at Buon Gusto. It was my first visit to this little bistro in Brighton. The waitress seemed flustered and inattentive. She kept reaching across the person sitting next to me to hand me my beverage, again to hand me the soup. I could have understood this if I were sitting across the... More
