Good food for the price

Other than being very noisy Crackle Barrel provides a great experience, just don't expect to be able to carry on a conversation. The lunch menu is one of best around and the service is good and quick. It is not top drawer but a good value for the price.

Not sure what happened here! I've always had a positive experience at Cracker Barrel, however, this was my first time at the Cracker Barrel in Brighton. I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken (which I have had many times before) but, this time it was barely even warm and it was like hard to cut through and eat, it almost had... More

We were seated fairly quickly and our waitress was okay, however from there I could have not been more disappointed in my lunch order. First of all I ordered the cheese burger med rare ( I know they do not cook med rare, only med and above), my cheese burger came back well done and was not 1/2 pound and... More

I gave this restaurant a great review in 2011...the only thing that wasn't great were the grits; a bit on the soupy side, never quite done enough. And guess what...after I asked the manager and staff about the grits for over four years...they're the same...still undercooked and watery. The pancakes are served lukewarm - not even enough to melt the... More

This is a great family restaurant with homestyle food - and our waiter, Allen G made it a truly special dinner. He extended his warmth, personality and sense of humor to all his tables - complimenting patrons, bringing out our meals in double-quick time, and making us feel like we were all part of a family. Allen - or "Al"... More

First of all, this is definitely not the place to go for a quiet breakfast/brunch on a weekend morning!! It is loud! We used to go to Cracker Barrell more frequently, but it has been a while, as we thought the portion sizes were getting smaller, while the prices crept up. We thought this was definitely the case during our... More

We heard about the new fall menu, so went to check it out. My Dad eats here semi-regular, but this was my first visit. The food was good, the salmon cakes were perfect. But we could not carry on a conversation for the noise. The restaurant was quite busy and that probably contributed. We will go back, but during an... More

Though I enjoy the atmosphere, especially the fireplace, I'm not impressed with many of their dishes. With the exception of some of the vegetable dishes and biscuits the main courses are very plain and not up to my standards.

While in Mich for a family wedding we walked from our hotel, the Courtyard Marriott, for breakfast here and we were not disappointed. On a Sat morn at 8am the place was not as crowded as our Cracker Barrel in FL so we were very happy. The service and food were both very good.

I like this chain simply because in nearly every case they are consistent and that is good. The food is tasty, hot and I like the service at this location. I have never had a bad meal here.
