One of my favorite restaurants in town. The place is small but decorated with a cozy, soft warm feel. The sushi presentations are a work of art and taste fantastic! Friday's and Saturday's the place is packed so you if you have the patience of a gnat like I do, you may want to consider visiting during the week or... More

This is by far our favorite restaurant in...well anywhere. Perfect for a casual lunch or a special dinner. There are so many wonderful things to choose from. We pretty much always do the chef's special and we are never disappointed. Highly recommend it.

The food was fantastic from the presentation to the taste. The server Kiel did a great job. He explained to us about the Sushi Boat. And he was spot on. Our glasses were never empty, the place was packed worth the 40 minute wait.

It doesn't look like much but once inside everything was top notch. The food was immaculate and the service was exceptional. Even the music and the bathrooms were impressive. This place must has it all and I highly recommend it.

But Sushi Zen has changed that. I have been to many sushi bars including one in Japan but not until Sushi Zen have I really enjoyed the meal. I think they do have a good selection and variety of rolls. You will find out their local popularity if you try to go on a Friday or Saturday night.

We have now been there two times and found the sushi quality and selection to be very good. It is not what you might expect from a strip mall sushi place. Definitely one for the regular rotation.

Answer: Sushi Zen! Not impressed with the baked and friend menu. The salad was so-so and the dressing was not very nice. The soup was just fair. We ordered more traditional sushi and it was just ok, nothing to write home about. We had gyoza appetizer, was also just ok. However, the place was packed. People seem to like it,... More

I love the atmosphere. Small restaurant, but very cozy and urban. I usually go there for lunch or take out. I order the California rolls and they are fresh and quick for take out. I would go more often, but my husband just isn't into Sushi. The restaurant is hidden in a corner next to a auto supply shop, and... More

Being an avid sushi aficionado and loving most everything I've tasted from the sea, Sushi Zen has been my anchor in the assorted very mediocre selection of sushi in Livingston county. When one craves sushi one may be forced to settle for what others who haven't experienced great sushi would turn from. When I feel the need, to sushi zen... More

Sushi Zen is one of the best restaurant experiences in the area! The sushi and sushi roles are delicious and the presentation is always creative and first class. Miso soup and salad is included and I like to substitute the avocado dressing for the standard ginger dressing on the salad for a change of pace. The bento box and other... More
